Prada Fall 2015 Show Review

For FALL 2015 PRADA went the pastel route with a charming retro appeal. Miuccia also offered up sweet 60's silhouettes and feminine details. My favorites were the boxy, princess coats along with the cropped suits. The models looks were accessorized with bowling bags, brooches, over-sized sunglasses and opera gloves which has already been spotted on the red carpet.

Shoes wise, models strutted in classic 'Mary Jane' pumps with a modern interpretation from the designer. The Mary Jane was done with a pointy toe, double straps and a stacked heel which came down the runway in an array of colors. Overall, Miuccia dialed back from the over complicated pieces that's been done and served up wearable clothes. You can view the entire collection on Style.com.

Tom Ford Fall 2015 Show Review

Last night TOM FORD showed his FALL 2015 collection to a star studded crowd at Milk Studios in LA. With the Spirit Awards tonight and the Oscars tomorrow, this was a bold move for the designer to show this weekend along with the start of London Fashion Week. Models strutted down a white rose petal runway in pieces that had a mix of Bohemian and  romantic Victorian touches.

Colorful patchwork, fringe and tiers of ruffles were some of the details Tom used in the collection. My favorites pieces was a white long sleeve dress with tiers of flirty fringe and a leopard fur coat that Joan Smalls walked in. I did like the denim patchwork as well which took me back to 70's style. Also the thigh-high boots in the collection was hot. Overall the collection had wearable pieces for the girl who wants to make a style statement without trying to hard. You can view the entire collection on Style.com.

Lela Rose Fall 2015 Show Review

LELA ROSE is known for her sweet feminine looks and FALL 2015, she stayed true to her signature style. Lela gave the girl this season fun, flirty fringe cut failles and feathers. The designer also threw in the mix charming gingham prints along with jacquard floral embroidery. Models strutted down the runway in chic midi sheath dresses and A-line skirts that I am sure her customers would appreciate.

My favorite piece was a black & silver sheer panel and woven fringe peplum dress which I really hope to see on the red carpet. While their were a lot of great daytime and evening wear, Lela did offer up some stylish separates like a long & short belted coats, loose sweaters paired with skirts and cropped tops and skirts. Badgley Mischka Fall 2015 Show Review

BADGLEY MISCHKA is known for their gorgeous gowns and cocktails dresses and for FALL 2015, the design duo stayed true to their brand. Inspired by the traditions of matador baroque embellishments and the film 'Blood & Sands', the theme of the collection was teamed with sassy retro bouffants.

For Mark & James, it wasn't about layers and chunky knits, it was about chic statement daywear with glamorous looks for the evening. Then their were the outerwear and one of my favorites was a white tweed belted trench coat which if styled right, can be pulled off as a dress. Looks were accessorized with statement clutches and ladylike gloves. If you are looking for the perfect special occasion look, look no further. You can view the entire collection on Style.com.

Reem Acra Fall 2015 Show Review

Every season, you can almost always expect to see a great selection of red carpet hits from REEM ACRA and you can expect the same for FALL 2015. The collection featured a bevy of statement dresses with lots of embellishments, charming embroidery and feminine lace panels. Detail was key here which is something she does well. It was all about the high necklines, sometimes with embellishments or embroidery, puffy sleeves and skirts with movement.

However for some reason I was on a coat high because the coats in general during this season were the best I've seen in a while. Love, love, love this black with gold embroidered coat with a lace cuff. It's on my wish list. Overall, the collection is perfect for the women who wants an un-forced standout look. Alice + Olivia Fall 2015 Show Review

I probably say this every season but I really enjoy going to the ALICE + OLIVIA show. Stacey Bendet doesn't do runway shows but presentations. The great thing about her presentations is that she just doesn't have models standing on a platform or stage, it's like a set which tells a story about the collection.

For FALL 2015, Stacey got inspiration from the Biba enthused days of swinging London along with the rock 'n' roll scene of the Rolling Stones. The collection had bohemian touches with fun, bold wearable statements that didn't overwhelm. I fell in love with the black & green diamond print exaggerated wide leg trousers and don't get me started on the coats. The designer did more coats than she ever did in previous collections and I can't say that I am mad at her for that. You can view the entire collection on Style.com.

Disaronno Wears Versace

DISARONNO, a favorite Italian liquor, get's a bottle make-over from the house of VERSACE. The inspiration for the bottle came from the Versace home collection print, Tresor de la Mer. The bottle boost a blue design with an opulent white & gold motif and the Sea God of Neptune treasures of shells, pearls and gold statues.

This bottle is the perfect fashionable accessory to give any bar a stylish touch with the statement appeal of Versace. However the collaboration with Disaronno and Versace is not only about fashion but giving back. Proceeds will support the charity 'Fashion 4 Development' which is a global campaign through the United Nations to help with the issues in Africa.

Also Disaronno is toasting the limited edition collaboration with the fashion house with a signature cocktail called the 'Disaronno Versace Sour.' The cocktail features Disaronno mixed with Bianco Vermouth and lime juice which is then shaken and poured into crushed ice then topped with Prosecco. A drizzle of blue Curacao on the top gives adds the Versace flare. Sounds like a refreshing drink worth trying but Disaronno in general by itself is a great drink to me. For more details about the collaboration and the liquor, visit disaronno.com.
