6th Biennial UNICEF Ball Wrap-up

Selena Gomez & more attended the 6th Biennial UNICEF Ball at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel last night in Beverly Hills, California. For the most part, all of the guest were wearing LOUIS VUITTON unless otherwise stated.

Nicole Kidman made an shimmery entrance wearing a custom LOUIS VUITTON navy floral sequin long sleeve dress with a plunging neckline and a center front split. Adding a little more shine to her look, she accessorized with a statement necklace & silver sandals. A faux pinned bob completed her look.

Lea Seydoux wore a dress that probably everyone is tired of seeing, a black sheer long sleeve dress which revealed a black bodysuit underneath. Her dress was also featured a pleated skirt and black patent studded panels. While we have definitely seen this before, it doesn't come off as too trashy but she is definitely serving up to much cleavage. A red lip, sleek up-do and dropped earrings completed her look. Also in case you didn't know, Lea just became a brand ambassador for Louis Vuitton.

Jennifer Connelly wore a custom red sequin long sleeve dress with a cut-out shoulders and a side front split. Jennifer's dress is inspired by the Spring 2016 collection. I like her look even with the contrast detail of the clutch but then I saw her black ankle booties. They don't work for me.

Camilla Belle wore a MONIQUE LHUILLIER SPRING 2016 black sheer tulle floral embroidered gown. Her her look was romantically dark & her beauty added to the appeal of her look.

Angie Harmon wore a strapless NAEEM KHAN red degrade sequin & beaded gown which she accessorized with NORMAN SILVERMAN jewelry & a black clutch.

Adele Exarchopoulos wore a custom black leather long sleeve zipper & stud detail dress. A signature logo clutch, smokey eyes & a straight off-the-tresses completed her look.

Mariah Carey wore a custom look as well which featured a black top and navy embellished detail long skirt. There is nothing exciting here but the usually look that we see from Mariah.

Miranda Kerr wore a SPRING 2016 dress which is cute but would work better for Chloe Moretz or Kiernan Shipka.

Heidi Klum wore a simple black VICTORIA BECKHAM  long dress. I have seen similar VB dresses like this on the carpet before. A statement piece probably would have kept it interesting.

  1. I find Lea's dress hideous and I can't believe she became LV ambassador, I thought she was with Prada ! She's the only one who looks good in Prada/Miu Miu.
I don't like any of these looks, neither dress is fitting well except maybe Angie Harmon's.

    1. I didn't know about that and am quite sad. Lea is one of my favorites and Vuitton is one of my least.
Why didn't Mucia lock that girl down with a weighty endorsement contract?

  2. I hope Lea and LV wont be as bad as JLaw/Dior partnership. She was a perfect match for Prada :(

  3. Nicole and Angie of the bunch.

I wasn't looking forward to Lea/LV partnership and here is the reason why. She deserves more than that black-and-sheer disappointment. It's like her natural sweet charm has been taken away from her. And I can't believe Connelly's dress is a custom - it's just hanging on her, wide and loose, not to mention those jarring booties and questionable hair.

I'm really not a big fan of the brand. So far, perhaps, only Alicia Vikander has been a compatible match.
