Alicia Vikander in Mary Katrantzou at the 21st Annual Critics' Choice Awards

Alicia Vikander walked away a winner last night for 'Best Supporting' actress at the 21st Annual Critics' Choice Awards which was held at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California.

She hit the blue carpet in a MARY KATRANTZOU SPRING 2016 heavily embellished sheer gown with chiffon side panels. Her custom Bespoke gown hit the runway in a very similar shorter version.

I like the statement appeal of her gown which made an better impact than her globes look. However I am glad that she went with an up-do to compliment her detailed gown but I do find this style to be on the matronly side. Small drop earrings and a muted lip color topped off her look. What do you think of Alicia's look?

  1. That hair is bad. But it's good to see her in something other than LV. This is still quirky and interesting, without looking same old.

  2. The dress is ok, but the hair is very aging.

  3. Not too fond of the chiffon side panels on the skirt but it's a good, interesting and pretty gown for her, and I like her lovely natural presence.
