Stepping out in two different looks in London, Bel Powley attended the Lancome 2016 British Academy Film Awards Nominees party and the 2016 EE BAFTA's.
Yesterday(February 13th) she attended the Lancome 2016 British Academy Film Awards Nominees party at the Kensington Palace. She wore a CHANEL ensemble which featured a white sleeveless sheer ruffled bib panel shirt and black high wast trousers with silver buttons. A pop of color came via her bold red lip. A complimentary up-do and a chain strap minaudière which is also Chanel completed her look.
This evening she hit the red carpet at the 2016 BAFTA'S which is being held at the Royal Opera House. She is wearing a GUCCI shimmery colorful wavy stripe pleated dress with lurex plisse stripes. Although it is not visible, Bel is wearing Gucci silver metallic platform pumps with an feline head detail on the top. A purple pv box clutch, SOLANGE AZAGURY-PARTRIDGE jewelry and a complimentary up-do completed her look.

I actually prefer her Nominees Party look, nice and proper for the occasion. Her 2nd look almost seems a bit gaudy for the formal event, and I don't think the horizontally-striped bodice works for her torso - it just looks short and square.

ReplyDeleteThe second look is just so retro, and the bodice is trip tight. She has been wearing Gucci quite a bit as of late, and I have to say, she pretty much pulls it off. I think she really embodies their current aesthetic.
