Allison Williams in Giambattista Valli Couture at The Parker Institute For Cancer Immunotherapy Gala

One thing about Allison Williams, she knows how to dress up for an event. Last night she attended the Sean Parker & The Parker Foundation launch of The Parker Institute For Cancer Immunotherapy Gala at a private residence in LA.

Turning to one of her go to red carpet designers, she wore GIAMBATTISTA VALLI. Her SPRING 2016 COUTURE dress featured a sleeveless black & white sequin top, the designer's skinny signature bow waist sash and a blue & white beaded embroidered tulle layered skirt.

I guess because Allison is shorter than the model, the dress appears longer on her. However I prefer the skirt length on the model. Also while I like the bold pop of color via her electric blue pumps, I wise she went with a simple ankle strap sandal. Smokey eyes and a braided bun completed her look. Do you like the length on Allison or do you prefer the model's length?

  1. I do like it on Allison, she looks pretty, but yeah, it does look better on the runway model, I agree... I like Allison's shoe choice, though.

  2. I love this trend of juxtaposition of different embroideries / patterns. I think Raf Simons started it at Dior. She looks good, elegant and very polished although I also would have preferred a slightly shorter skirt but that is a minor objection.

  3. I think the skirt is fine, although it lost some of its shape on Allison, but it's still sweet and full - the whole look is nice and the blue pumps are lovely.
