Cate Blanchett can be a fashion risk taker and whether it pays off or not, I like that about her. Earlier today she attended The Opening of Louis Vuitton Volez Voguez Voyagez Exhibit in Tokyo.
She stepped out in a LOUIS VUITTON FALL 2016 black, white, grey and yellow textured color-block calf-length dress with three-quarter leather sleeves and a ruffled hem. This collection in general is going to be hard to translate from the runway to the red carpet.
Remember when Nicole Kidman tried her hand at it this past weekend. I can't say that I love the dress in general but if I saw this on someone other than Cate, I would have really hated it. A side parted short bob, minimal make-up and ankle strap sandals topped off her look. Are you feeling CB's look?

ReplyDeleteI like the dress but I detest the colour combination. She looks like an exotic beetle,albeit a beautiful one. I would have preferred turquoise blue instead of yellow. I hate yellow.
