Following her appearance at AOL Studios, Diane Kruger attended the Tiffany & Co. 2016 Blue Book Collection unveiling at The Cunard Building in NYC on Friday(April 15th).
She hit the carpet in a vibrant blood red KAUFMANFRANCO SPRING 2016 strapless cape flare column gown with side slit pockets which she utilized.
The gown looks a tad long on Diane but the color and her elegant look out weighs that. An aquamarine, tanzanite, green tourmaline & diamond TIFFANY & CO Blue Book necklace, minimal make-up and side parted waves completed her look. What do you think of Diane's look?

By no means I intend to be confrontational but a cape by definition must cover the shoulders of the wearer. "fits closely at the neck and hangs loosely over the shoulders."
ReplyDeleteThat said, I love this look. It is a classic mid century couture silhouette yet it remains modern and very elegant. The colour is stricking and her presentation in on point.
No worries but if you go to the Kaufmanfranco website( see link below, look 42), that's their description of the dress which is why I wrote what I wrote.

Yes, I saw that just after I commented and I was trying to figure out how to define it... maybe a cape-like? an overlay? Sorry if sounded a bit pedantic ;-)
DeleteNot a problem at all. I thought 'cape like detail' at first but I didn't write it, lol. :)
DeleteThe skirt is tad long but wow, this is spectacular
ReplyDeleteThe color blows me away. And that necklace! Beautiful look.
