Gemma Arterton in Jenny Packham at the 2016 Olivier Awards

Making a shiny entrance, Gemma Arterton hit the red carpet at the 2016 Olivier Awards which was held at The Royal Opera House in London.

She stepped out in a long sleeve purple JENNY PACKHAM FALL 2016 sequin embellished and chiffon panel gown with a back split. Gemma's gown hit runway in shorter with less sequins.

I think if you remove the sleeves, this could have been a winning look overall because I love the color. Also her make-up and side parted straight bob complimented her look nicely. DE GRISOGONO earrings and CHARLOTTE OLYMPIA sandals completed her look. Which version of Gemma's dress do you prefer, the runway her or her long version sans sleeves?

  1. It's all about that color. So beautiful.I like the sleeves themselves but I agree that had they been removed I might have liked this a bit more because with the hairstyle she does look a bit matronly but anyway, still love this

  2. The sleeves are ok with the short version but look like an overkill with the long one. Had her skirt come with chiffon panels too it could've worked, otherwise it's too heavy.

  3. It is my favourite colour ever but I am not feeling this dress, at all. I agree with Nat, chiffon panels in the skirt would have benefited it .
