Aishwarya Rai in Elie Saab Couture at The BFG 69th Cannes Film Festival Screening

Following her attendance at a screening yesterday, Aishwarya Rai made her way back to the 69th Cannes Film Festival red carpet for the screening of The BFG this evening in Cannes, France.

For the occasion, she wore a ELIE SAAB FALL 2014 COUTURE blush pink beaded embroidered gown which featured the designer's signature skinny belt. Aishwarya's gown hit the runway unlined but of course she lined hers for the event.

Honestly I am a little shocked that this is the first time we are seeing a Saab gown on the carpet since the start of this festival. With that said, I love her beauty look which featured a dark red matte lip and side parted wavy tresses which complimented her look. She didn't excite yesterday as we hoped but do you think she did today or does this feel familiar?

  1. Deja Vu to the max, but I like this better than her first gown yesterday. I am surprised too that this is the first Elie Saab since the festival started lol.

  2. There is no denying she looks beautiful, but this is another neutral beaded dress, been there done that, she is "flatlining" at the moment and not giving us anything distinctively dramatic and memorable.

  3. Major YAWN. She could have, at least tried another colour. Maybe if it wasn't lined it would have caused more impact. The embroidery is really beautiful nevertheless.

    1. Just thought that unlined would be the JLo's version.

  4. I did not miss Elie Saab gowns on the carpet to be honest, and this shows why. Another predictable, random beaded gown and I'm bored once again.

  5. Not feeling it at all.
