Carolina Parsons in Ralph & Russo Couture at the Julieta 69th Cannes Film Festival Premiere

The red carpet looks that I saw today were very boring but I think Carolina Parsons saved the day. The actress attended the Julieta premiere during the 69th Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, France.

Making a dramatic entrance, she wore a RALPH & RUSSO FALL 2014 COUTURE strapless navy and black feathered gown with a long dramatic train in the back. Carolina had two people helping her maintain her gown while on the carpet. You can see it at another via her instagram HERE.

I thought she carried the look well and she served up much needed drama and elegance on the carpet today. I know the color is dark but I am glad it is not floral, white or pastel. CHOPARD jewelry and a low center part ponytail topped off her look. What do you think of Carolina's look?

  1. This is a dramatic look but it's a bit too dark and fall-like, and it's a standard strapless silhouette and statement necklace combo. It's a beautiful look but it didn't really excite me. It's actually Petra Nemkova who caught my eye in her unusually dramatic Safiyaa gown, she looked absolutely gorgeous.

  3. SO much R&R Couture this year, and don't get me wrong, I am loving it all, but a little more variety would be welcome. They do have a certain aesthetic. Seems like every year Cannes becomes more disappointing.
