Kirsten Dunst in Christian Dior Couture at the Loving 69th Cannes Film Festival Screening

I wasn't crazy about any of Kristen's looks so far but that changed today. She attended the screening of Loving this evening during the 69th Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, France.

She hit the red carpet in a custom CHRISTIAN DIOR COUTURE white silk embellished gown with side pockets which she utilized, lily of the valley embroidery and a square neckline.

Beauty wise, she went with a side parted layered curls and a classic red lip. I can't say that I like the black clutch with this dress or the fit of the top on her but she didn't look bad for the occasion.

  1. I was about to suggest you could improve some posts including more than one picture and here you come...I like it. Sometimes is difficult to evaluate a whole look from only one angle. The change is welcome.
That said, I like the dress a lot from afar, although it feels a bit bride-ish and the construction of the bodice is not great. The fit seems to be a bit off on the sides and her boobs are uneven. It could be that the fabric moved while walking but that shouldn't happen. Those probably are irrelevant issues but from Dior I expect excellence. Her face looks gorgeous.

    1. Okay, thanks for letting me know. Also I just noticed the uneven top.

  2. The top is so unflattering.

  3. Almost every custom Dior since Raf Simons' departure appeared to have some sort of bodice construction problem. This is one of the better ones, actually, but it's really about time for a new creative director at the house, if you ask me.
If I ignore the bodice which could be better, she does look pretty gorgeous.

  4. I don't expect something impressively dramatic from her, so this is simple, lovely and beautiful. The bodice doesn't bother too much, but the black clutch looks harsh and out-of-place. Overall I love this look for Kirsten.
