Rose Byrne in Ralph Lauren at the 2016 MET Gala

Making a shiny entrance, Rose Byrne hit the carpet this evening at the 2016 MET Gala, Manus X Machina-Fashion in an Age of Technology at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC.

She wore a custom RALPH LAUREN champagne ruffle dress with cold shoulders, a hi lo hem detail and a train in the back. I would have loved to see Rose with a strappy heel over the metallic slingback that she is wearing here.

Beauty wise, she went with her signature side parted bob and kohl rimmed eyes offset with a vampy colored lip which kept her look interesting. A box clutch and a statement choker topped off her look.

  1. 90% of the attendees are going to look like aluminum foil. Lol. This is OKay. Doesn't scream MET GALA.

  2. Don't like this either. I can't stand ruffles. Although the metallic effect has relation with the theme.
I have a feeling this gala will be a total boredom.

    2. Don't forget Topshop. Lol who would've thought the MET GALA is all about boring and safe.

    5. How lame, really. That is business, not fashion, not art. Can't stand her anyway.

  3. This better suits the Cinco de Mayo than MET!
