Danai Gurira stood out on the red carpet this evening at the 70th Annual Tony Awards which was held at The Beacon Theatre in New York.
The actress wore a yellow ROSIE ASSOULIN FALL 2016 dress which featured a cut-out detail on the bodice and a asymmetrical hem. I was on board with this look because the color looks great against her skin and I like the contrasting pop of color via her burgundy ROGER VIVIER clutch.
However I am not a fan of her shoe choice. Overall I just don't think the styling of her look coordinates together. A strappy style could have elevated this look. Ankles up, this is a great look, do you agree?

Not liking the accessories for this look. Love the color of the dress on her
ReplyDeleteI want to like it but I can't. She looks stiff and uncomfortable, and her styling isn't working out - the hair looks awkward, the blue and purple/burgundy are competing, and a sandal would've been better than pumps.
ReplyDeleteThe dress looks absolutely lovely on her. The fitting is perfect and the colour is great for her skin tone. The accessories although are completely wrong.
