Alicia Vikander made her way to the carpets of 73rd Venice Film Festival in Vencia, Italy for 'The Light Between Oceans' photocall and premiere today(September 1st).
For the photocall, she wore a PRABAL GURUNG RESORT 2017 three-quarter sleeve navy & white shibori printed crinkle silk chiffon v-neck layered dress with drawstring details and a high-low hem. I think this was a nice, casual look for the Venice photocall. A ponytail with side swept bangs and MANSUR GAVRIEL navy suede double band flat sandals finished up her look.
Remaining the loyal brand ambassador as always, she attended the premiere this evening at Sala Grande wearing a custom LOUIS VUITTON RESORT 2017 dress. Her mixed media dress which was featured in a shorter version on the runway, featured a silver sequin three-quarter sleeve ruffled top v-neck top hi lo hem dress underlay with a black printed ruffled v-neck dress overlay with a split back detail. Beauty wise she went with a light shimmery silver eye off-set with a natural pink lip and a complimentary bun which was adorned with a statement hair clip. I can't say that I love this dress but it definitely looks better than the runway version and Alicia made it work. Black sandals finished up her look.

The LV has a pastoral feeling, like an Austrian milkmaid. The runway version is edgier and less costumey but I dont like it either.
