Lupita Nyong'o in Rosie Assoulin at the 'Queen of Katwe' 2016 BFI London Film Festival Premiere

For her 'Queen of Katwe' promo tour, Lupita Nyong'o has been serving up some consistent red carpet looks. Yesterday evening(October 9th) she attended the premiere the during the 60th BFI London Film Festival at Odeon Leicester Square in London.

She hit the red carpet in a ROSIE ASSOULIN RESORT 2017 ensemble which featured a multicolored stripe crop top and pale blue high waisted, wide leg cuff trousers with a matching belt. Beauty wise, she went with a matching head wrap and a light blue eyeshadow which was offset with a red lip color.

The creases on the trousers are a bit distracting but I can't say that I love the cuff detail or the fit. However I love that she has started to bring some fashion diversity to the carpet. REBECCA DE RAVENEL ‘Les Bonbons’ earrings finished up her look. Are you on board with Lupita's look?

  1. The ensemble could've worked, but it's just not working for Lupita's height/frame - she looks swamped and stumpified by those pants. I can imagine someone like Zendaya for ex. pulling it off.

  2. The pants are way too long. I like the top though.

  3. Outfit is good but the headwrap is just too much for my liking.
