Following the photocall, Meryl Streep got all dressed up for the opening reception for the 29th Tokyo International Film Festival yesterday(October 25th) at the Roppongi Hills Arena in Roppongi, Tokyo.
She hit the red carpet wearing a VALENTINO PRE-FALL 2016 black sheer organza swan beaded embroidered layered dress with bracelet length sleeves. The dress was shown unlined in the look book but of course Meryl lined her dress which worked in her favor.
I like this dress style for her including the sheer black stockings & black patent peep-toe pumps which helped to tie her look together. However looking at the close-up images of her, the fit is not best, mainly the top. A small beaded clutch, statement drop earrings and a simple up-do finished up her look.
