Since the debut of her show 'Insecure' on HBO last year, Issa Rae has been on a career high as she should be. She attended the 48th NAACP Image Awards at Pasadena Civic Auditorium yesterday evening(February 11th) in Pasadena, California.
The nominee turned to Puerto Rican designer STELLA NOLASCO for her look. Her SPRING 2017 layered floral embroidered halter dress featured a key hole lace paneled bodice. Love her beauty look which featured a wavy & braided half down half up hairstyle and a nude lip.
I thought Issa looked lovely here in this dress but my only quibble is the lace panel on the bodice. I think it would have worked better if it was the same fabric as the rest of the dress. An EDIE PARKER clutch and JOHN HARDY jewelry finished up her look.
