Viola Davis always gives me life when she wears color. She looked lovely wearing a pink MICHAEL KORS sequin gown which was accessorized with NORMAN SILVERMAN jewelry. this reminds of a similar sequin dress she wore but the designer before but she still looked great. Also loving the burly ponytail.
Octavia Spencer surprisingly didn't wearing Tadashi Shoji but instead she opted for celeb favorite new designer BRANDON MAXWELL. Her emerald off-the-shoulder was accessorized with emerald jewelry and a printed clutch.
Greta Gerwig could not be missed in her yellow beaded RODARTE layered dress which was accessorized with TIFFANY & CO jewelry. Her beauty look which featured a short, side parted wavy cut and red lip complimented her yellow dress.
Laura Dern looked simply pretty in a custom CALVIN KLEIN By Appointment white v-neck, floor length dress. I like the shoulder detail which kept her dress somewhat interesting. Side parted wavy tresses and silver accessories finished up her look.
Saoirse Ronan also wore a CALVIN KLEIN By Appointment dress. Her pink strapless dress which stopped just above her ankles featured a dramatic bow detail, train in the back. The dress looks great on her but I wish she added a complimentary dark pink lip or colored stone jewelry for balance.
Elisabeth Moss wore a pink crystal beaded CHRISTIAN DIOR layered gown which featured a strapless & off-the-shoulder bodice detail and a belted waist. For me, this is just okay. I can't say that I like how the dress fits on her.
Meryl Streep who was nominated, wore a simple CHRISTIAN DIOR red gown with a wide v-neckline, bracelet length sleeves and a belted waist. She accessorized with FRED LEIGHTON jewelry, a LOUBOUTIN clutch and STUART WEITZMAN sandals.
Danai Gurira wore a GABRIELA HEARST pink strapless gown with a pleated train detail in the back. Danai is beautiful and I love the color on her but not the dress. The hem just looks bad and probably should have been shorten. Loving her hair cut though.
Sally Hawkins wore a GIORGIO ARMANI long sleeve sequin floor length dress with padded shoulders a belted waist and a contrasting black embroidered hem. I actually like this dress but it is wearing Sally more than she is wearing it.
