Following her attendance at the Essence pre-Oscars luncheon, Danai Gurira hit the blue carpet at the 33rd Film Independent Spirit Awards in Santa Monica, California this afternoon(March 3rd).
Turning to RODARTE, she wore a SPRING 2018 black, yellow & white sheer printed dress which stopped just above her ankles and featured a ruffle high neck & bodice, long voluminous sleeves, a cutout bodice and lace trimming.
Rodarte is know for their detailed but difficult pieces but Danai can work pieces like this. However I am not sold on this look. I kinda miss the belt and I think she should have gone with a simpler heel over her ROGER VIVIER 'Star' mules. A rare miss for me. What do you think of Danai's look?
