Following her attendance at the Essence pre-Oscar luncheon, Lupita Nyong'o along with Jennifer Garner and Mary J. Blige wore ATELIER VERSACE at the 90th Annual Academy Awards at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California this evening(March 4th).
Lupita Nyong'o sparkled her way onto the carpet wearing a VERSACE gold & black Swarovski embellished gown with a padded shoulder and a thigh-high split. When it comes to her hairstyle, Lupita always gives up something fresh & new thanks to her hairstylist Vernon Francois. He gave her a traditional African hairstyle which complimented her beautiful gown. NIWAKA jewelry, ALEXANDRE BIRMAN sandals, a gold clutch and minimal make-up finished up her elegant, sultry look.
Jennifer Garner surprisingly didn't wear black and opted for a standout blue strapless chiffon gown with a subtle slit and draped scarf accent at the neckline. Although we have seen this style from the fashion house on numerous occasion, I will give it a pass because it is something refreshing & elegant on Jennifer.
Mary J. Blige who is a two time nominee, wore a white silk cady gown with linear draping detail and asymmetrical neckline with Swarovski crystal encrusted bodice and subtle train. Her look was accessorized with FOREVERMAEK jewelry, a ROGER VIVIER clutch and LOUBOUTIN heels which topped off her look along with a complimentary beauty look.
