Chadwick Boseman and Rachel Weisz stepped out on Sunday(February 24th) wearing GIVENCHY COUTURE for the 91st Academy Awards at the Dolby Theater in LA.
Chadwick Boseman is always my favorite male actor to see on the carpet but I was very disappointed with his look. Love this jacket on him and I think it was fitting for the king but I wish it was shorten in the back, about the length in which it is on the model. Also he should have kept the navy scarf or leave it out because that black throws it off. Overall, I think if this was tailored like the runway version, he could have nailed it. A rare miss for me.
Rachel Weisz chose a red GIVENCHY SPRING 2019 COUTURE latex & organza embellished gown. Love this gown and I think it worthy of the Oscars red carpet but it's on the wrong wearer. Rachel doesn't give it life, if this was on someone like Cate Blanchett, the results would have been different. I like Rachel but she does well in elegant, timeless pieces, not anything with a little edge to it.
