Linda Cardellini and Helen Mirren made her way to the red carpet this evening(February 24th) wearing SCHIAPARELLI COUTURE for the 91st Academy Awards at the Dolby Theater in LA.
Linda Cardellini chose a frilly red ruffle tulle, high-low hem gown from the SPRING 2019 COUTURE collection. Her prunus organza gown featured a plunging neckline and a contrasting pink bow waist sash. Love Linda in this gown and she sold me on it until I saw her shoes. I almost screamed out because why the black pumps, why. I know the model is wearing it on the runway but it doesn't work for me. However they don't completely ruin the look. Ankles up, this is not bad. LORRAINE SCHWARTZ jewelry and a up-do with bangs finished up her look.
Dame Helen Mirren almost never disappoints and she stood out beautifully wearing this shocking pink layered tulle gown. She dressed up her look with diamond jewelry and a TYLER ELLIS clutch. She isn't a favorite on the carpet for no reason, she can and did deliver.
