Yesterday evening(October 28th) in New York, Apple TV+'s 'The Morning Show' world premiere took place at the David Geffen Hall.
Reese Witherspoon stayed in her silhouette comfort zone, wearing a custom CELINE strapless color-block sequin dress which she accessorized with TAFFIN jewelry and CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN pumps. The pumps are a snooze but given the dress style, they worked.
Jennifer Aniston no matter what, will almost always wear black. Here she chose a Vintage JAMES GALANOS draped neck dress. This could have gotten elevated with statement jewelry and/or a colored lip but my fingers are crossed that one day she will give us a memorable fashion moment. Also she should have worn a black nipple pasties for better coverage.
Emmy Rossum was probably my favorite wearing this ALTUZARRA RESORT 2020 pink power suit which she accessorized with EF COLLECTION jewelry and SERGIO ROSSI pumps.
Bel Powley wore the most standout piece courtesy of SIMONE ROCHA. Her SPRING 2020 blue & white printed tulle dress featured tiers of asymmetrical ruffle panel. This whimsical number suits Bel but I wish the printed panel covered the entire dress. Also I am confused as to why black ankle strap pumps were paired with this dress instead of silver metallic.
Naomi Watts wore a MIU MIU RESORT 2020 long sleeve ivory midi dress, which was adorned with romantic, embellished florals and a feminine lace peter pan collar. A pink clutch and sling-back pumps and a colored lip rounded out her look.
Krys Marshal of Apple TV+s 'For All Mankind', wore a MARC JACOBS FALL 2019 lavender crinkled semi-sheer organza dress, which she teamed with silver embellished sandals. You may Remember that Lucy Boynton wore this in April 2019. I am not crazy about the eyelashes but she looks divine in this color.
Sarah Jones followed her 'For All Mankind' co-star by wearing a dress from the MARC JACOBS FALL 2019 collection. However she chose the same dress that we already saw on Julia Louis-Dreyfus. But I actually prefer Sarah's styling of the dress.
Mindy Kaling looked lovely wearing the MATICEVSKI 'Meteor' black slashed one-shoulder dress which she accessorized with CHOPARD jewelry and a JIMMY CHOO clutch & sandals.
Jodi Balfour chose the same CHRISTOPHER KANE PRE-FALL 2019 dress that we already saw on Cynthia Addai-Robinson in August 2019. Even though this dress is on repeat and a bit over-designed, Jodi wore it well.
Ella Hunt went the all black route as well, wearing a SAINT LAURENT FALL 2019 black strapless lace panel bustier, which she partially lined for coverage and black trousers. The only thing I would add here is a necklace, a less focus pulling style.
Janina Gavankar showed just a little skin wearing a INGIE PARIS WINTER 2019 black long sleeve embroidered dress with cutout sides. She should have also gone with a black panel for coverage on the bust. Also bracelets wouldn't have hurt, other than that the dress looks great on her.
Shantel VanSanten of Apple TV+s 'For All Mankind' showed a little skin as well wearing a ALESSANDRA RICH FALL 2019 black bandeau cutout, velvet dress. Shantel's dress was clearly altered from the runway which I actually prefer.
