2019 WSJ Innovators Awards

The 2019 WSJ Innovators awards took place yesterday evening(November 6th) at the MOMA in New York.

Julianne Moore effortlessly pulled off this black sequin jacket and pleated skirt along with black leather boots from the CELINE SPRING 2020 collection. Her beauty look was kept simple, with kohl rimmed eyes and light behind-the-ears waves.

Kim Kardashian West was on hand to present Ricardo Tisci with an award. She is wearing a custom BURBERRY PRE-FALL 2020 blue denim and leather ensemble. Honestly, I like the pieces individually. The pants are a little too tight but this look is sexy and edgy which is right up her alley.

Melina Matsoukas stepped out in a WALES BONNER white blazer which she styled with BULGARI jewelry and MARINE SERRE stockings and heels. I feel like she should have either gone with the brooch on the blazer or the stockings because I find they are competing with each other.

Carolyn Murphy looked great wearing a black belted blazer and a printed fringe skirt from the BURBERRY SPRING 2020 collection.

Gigi Hadid looked great wearing a BURBERRY SPRING 2020 periwinkle, ruffle hem knee length dress. I am glad that she ditched the runway shoes but all of the accessories that she chose added to the chic appeal of her look.

Irina Shayk wore BURBERRY SPRING 2020 as well. She was head to toe in the brand which featured a shimmery nude stripe, three piece suit with a nude button down shirt underneath and shimmery crisscross, tie-around pumps.
