K-SWISS is back in my Accessory Spotlight because the brand has teamed up with HEAL THE BAY, which is an non-profit organization dedicated to making the coastal waters and watersheds of Los Angeles safe. The K-Swiss and Heal the Bay ''Orange Garibaldi'' sneakers which is available for adults & kids, pays homage to California’s state fish. The shoes for adults features an bright orange fish scale textured material to imitate the look of the species, in eco-friendly materials, that help to reduce the brand’s impact on the environment.
The Kids’ version of the shoe includes bright blue spots, which mimic the look of the younger Garibaldi fish. The two sneakers will launch on Wednesday, May 27th, and it will be available for purchase on KSwiss.com. They will retail for adults at $80(men and women) and $50 for kids. All proceeds from the sales of the shoes will go to support Heal the Bay.
