Following her previous look, Tracee Ellis Ross hosted Day 2 of the 2020 Democratic National Convention and she posted her look to instagram.
She posed for the gram wearing a PROENZA SCHOULER PRE-FALL 2020 bordeaux belted dress with draped sleeves and contrasting black panels. Proenza Schouler dresses are not for everyone but this one is definitely up Tracee's style alley.
The bodice and the sleeves are a bit fussy, especially the draping around the bust. Also handkerchief hems aren't easy to sell but again, Tracee tends to gravity towards difficult pieces.
The dress is off-season, and there is too much fabric but I can't really say that I dislike this on her. For the venue, the dress is appropriate. Does Tracee's instagram style work for you?
