47th Cesar Film Awards

The red carpet is coming back to life and we are in awards season. On Friday(February 25th) in Paris, some celebs made their way on the red carpet for the 47th Cesar Film Awards which took place at the Olympia venue.

Lea Seydoux was easily my favorite as she looked stunning in a LOUIS VUITTON SPRING 2022 custom look. This black strapless column dress would be nothing without that white & black polka dot cape, earrings and red lip. Also I love her pixie cut & hair color. This was flawless, old Hollywood glamour at it's finest.

Cate Blanchett also chose a look from the LOUIS VUITTON SPRING 2022 collection. I think the pieces in general work for Cate because she can pull off difficult pieces, masculine or feminine. But this doesn't get me excited like most of her looks. The top layers has too much going on but it's not a bad look in general because she is wearing it, not the other way around.

Leila Bekhti wore a ALAIA FALL 2022 black strapless, knit bodysuit & gloves and crepe dress. I feel like this doesn't work for the Cesar red carpet. Maybe if the dress was floor length but she does look good.

Adele Exarchopoulos showed off her décolletage in a custom PACO RABANNE black off-the-shoulder dress. She looks good but her look doesn't excite. The necklace was definitely need but I would have loved to see her with a colored lip as well.

Vicky Krieps wore a CHANEL ensemble and this feels just a little too casual. This would be great for a photocall or something like that.

Virginie Efira kept it simple but pretty in a black floor length CHRISTIAN DIOR dress, dressed up with CARTIER jewelry.

Lucie Zhang also wore a dress by CHRISTIAN DIOR. Her black colorful printed tulle dress was accessorized with a light blue shoulder bag which is also DIOR. She looked lovely.

Isabelle Huppert turned to one of her go to designer brands BALENIAGA, wearing a black PRE-FALL 2022 floor length sparkly dress. The CARTIER jewelry enhanced her great look.

Elsa Zyleberstein wore a CHANEL SPRING 2022 dress. I feel like she should have kept the runway's jewelry and wore dressy sandals to elevate this look.

Anamaria Vartolomei walked away a winner wearing a CHANEL SPRING 2022 COUTURE two-tone, sequin & feather one-shoulder dress. I am not 100% sold on the design but she made it pretty.

Ana Girardot went the sexy route, wearing a VALENTINO SPRING 2022 black one-shoulder cutout and thigh split dress. I don't think her shoe choice was a bad one but dressy, ankle strap sandals and statement jewelry would have elevated this.

Valerie Lemercier walked away a winner as well wearing a black velvet dress from the STEPHANE ROLLAND COUTURE collection. The beaded detail on the sleeves kept this dress interesting. Although I still thought she needed a necklace but it was still a great look.

Anais Demoustier worked the split on her LANVIN dress which was accessorized with BOUCHERON jewelry. The top doesn't feel like it goes with the skirt but it's not a bad look.
