94th Oscars Wrap-up

Yesterday evening(March 27th) the 94th Annual Academy Awards took place at the Hollywood and Highland in Hollywood, California. To see all of the red carpet looks, click HERE and continue below for the wrap-up.

Zendaya looked simply beautiful wearing a custom VALENTINO COUTURE white crop shirt and a silver sequin, floor length skirt that flowed into train. It's similar to something that Sharon Stone wore to the Oscars in 1998, but with a very modern, sultry take,

Zoe Kravitz worked a custom SAINT LAURENT pink one-shoulder and surprisingly it's not black. She looked divine and with that hairstyle, it's giving modern Audrey Hepburn.

Ariana DeBose walked away a winner wearing a custom VALENTINO SPRING 2022 COUTURE red crop bralette, trousers and ruffle cape. Thankfully the top was changed but I still don't like the bra cup. However it was a great look for her big night..

Maya Rudolph in VALENTINO PRE-FALL 2022 orange silk, feather trim dress. I feel like this should have been made in a different color for her because her overall look it to orange. Some may not like it but it suits her.

Maggie Gyllenhaal looked like the letter ''T'' wearing a SCHIAPARELLI SPRING 2022 COUTURE black & gold embellished, floor length dress which was shown in a shorter version on the runway. The longer version was definitely the right direction for the occasion but the neckline is too stiff.

Demi Singleton
wore a custom MIU MIU SPRING 2022 purple embellished, strapless dress. Love the color on her and the alternate neckline but I wish that this hit the floor. Also I feel like the neckline needs to be an inch higher.

Naomi Scott returned to the red carpet wearing a FENDI SPRING 2022 COUTURE purple satin embellished, cape dress. On the runway, the dress was shown in a shorter version but the longer version was perfect for the occasion.

Lily James wore a sexy, pink lace inspired gown from the ATELIER VERSACE FALL 2021 COUTURE collection. A layered of tulle provided a short train detail in the back of her lingerie inspired look. She looked amazing no doubt but it doesn't feel fitting for the occasion.

Vanessa Hudgens hosted the red carpet in a custom MICHAEL KORS COLLECTION SPRING 2022 black sequin, cutout gown which was accessorized with BULGARI jewelry. That necklace was such a great choice.

Sofia Carson
always gives us something dramatic and it always thanks to GIAMBATTISTA VALLI. She chose a black tulle one-shoulder layered gown. Her beauty look was kept simple enough so that nothing over-shadows her gown.

Maddie Ziegler wore a GIAMBATTISTA VALLI SPRING 2022 COUTURE black strapless, gown. While I think this was a great choice for the occasion, the gown is wearing her more than she is wearing it.

Saniyya Sidney has been one of my favorite new comers this awards season and the young starlet looked so beautiful wearing a GIORGIO ARMANI PRIVE SPRING 2021 COUTURE gown. Her mint strapless gown was adorned with pink & blue flower embellishments and the color looked fantastic on her. CICADA jewelry and JIMMY CHOO sandals finished up her look.

Nicole Kidman wore a strapless GIORGIO ARMANI PRIVE gown and her beauty look, and jewelry is all that is working here.

Kirsten Dunst wore a Vintage CHRISTIAN LACROIX FALL 2002 COUTURE strapless gown with FRED LEIGHTON jewelry and she looked lovely in this color.

Tati Gabrielle
wore a HELLESSY FALL 2022 champagne, draped off-the-shoulder, fringe dress. I kinda wish she wore the look book color but she does look pretty. GRACE LEE DESIGNS jewelry finished up her look.

Jessica Betts rocked a RICHFRESH suit while posing with wife Niecy Nash who looked gorgeous in a MONSOORI dress, accessorized with NEIL LANE jewelry and SOPHIA WEBSTER sandals.

Jaime Lee Curtis wore a navy crystal embellished dress by STELLA MCCARTHNEY. It's a great look but I wish that she left the gloves out.

Amy Forsyth wore a vibrant red MARCHESA one shoulder dress with an asymmetrical split detail. I love the matching lip & JIMMY CHOO sandals but this hits the prom border.

Jessica Chastain walked away a winner wearing a two-tone GUCCI sequin gown and she hit the jackpot with this piece. Definitely her best this season, she looked stunning.

Serena Williams also wore a custom GUCCI piece and I think this is a great dress. However that neckline is not good and those sandals are too heavy with this airy dress.

Billie Eilish wore a black ruffle tier dress by GUCCI and I am not sure what's going on here but it's not good.

Kristen Stewart stepped outside the rule box, for a CHANEL shorts suit and for her first time ever being nominated, I can't believe that she chose this. But you can tell that she wanted to stay in her comfort zone so if she loves.

Penelope Cruz wore a CHANEL FALL 2020 COUTURE navy halter gown. She ditched the silk-chiffon cape that the gown was shown with in the look book which would have probably made this better.

Regina Hall who was one of the hosts, looked gorgeous wearing a VERA WANG silk-chiffon, pleated dress. I feel like she needed a necklace though.

Lupita Nyong'o wore a gold embellished, fringe dress with pink flower embellished accents by PRADA. I feel like I have seen something similar from the fashion house but she does look beautiful in this color.

Costume Designer Ruth Carter wore a JOVANA LOUIS custom piece. It looks a little tight on the bust it stands out in a good way.

Rosie Perez looked beautiful wearing a CHRISTIAN SIRIANO red gown with draped shoulder panels in the back that flowed into a train.

Becky G wore a nude strapless gown by ETRO and I love the fit on her but not the color. Also I am not a fan of those pockets. It reminds me of that Versace that Emilia Clarke wore in September 2016.

Stephanie Beatriz looked beautiful in custom CHRISTIAN DIOR gown from the FALL 2020 COUTURE collection. She has been on a style role this awards season.

Rachel Ziegler got invited last minute to present and she chose a CHRISTIAN DIOR SPRING 2022 COUTURE black beaded dress. I am glad that she ditched the runway's color because it would have washed her out.

Olivia Colman also wore CHRISTIAN DIOR COUTURE silver pleated, plisse gown and she looked lovely wearing it.

Amy Schumer who is also one the hosts, wore a custom OSCAR DE LA RENTA dress and that neckline is not good. I feel like she should have worn something a bit more interesting than this.

Venus Williams wore custom ELIE SAAB FALL 2022 white dress which was shown in green on the runway. It's a great grecian inspired look but that neckline it too wide.

Queen Latifah stood out in a vibrant yellow Pamella Roland dress with a printed, satin cape. She looked beautiful but I wish the clutch was gold or something because that white doesn't work.

Julianne Hough also chose a yellow dress by Pamella Roland but that neckline looks very weird.

Mila Kunis made a rare appearance wearing a ZUHAIR MURAD SPRING 2022 COUTURE pleated gown. The creases are unfortunate but we have definitely seen this before from this designer.

Uma Thurman went the simple but classic route, wearing a BOTTEGA VENETA white button down shirt and a black long skirt. Uma has definitely did something like this before but it works for her.

Megan the Stallion wore a custom GAURAV GUPTA dress and she looked great no doubt but I wish the cutout waist wasn't there.

Jessie Buckley wore a custom ERDEM and I was a bit surprised because I am use to seeing statement floral pieces and embellishments from the fashion house. For me, it's not memorable and that color is not working on her.

Jennifer Garner wore a red off-the-shoulder dress by BRANDON MAXWELL. I am not loving the design of the top, the color is the only winner here.

Halle Bailey wore a ROBERTO CAVALLI mint cutout & thigh-high split dress that would work better for the Grammies, BET OR MTV awards.

Chloe Bailey wore a custom LVDF and I feel the same way about her look as well, very Grammies, BET or MTV awards.

Aunjanue Ellis in a custom red ATELIER VERSACE gown with IRENE NEUWIRTH jewelry and she looked beautiful. Yes this is giving me deja vu but she looked beautiful
