2022 CFDA Fashion Awards

Yesterday evening(November 7th) in New York, the 2022 CFDA Fashion Awards took place at Casa Cipriani with fashion's notable designers and celebs in attendance.

Janelle Monae showed up and showed out wearing THOM BROWNE SPRING 2023 head to toe. Love this, that's all.

Gigi Hadid wore a THOM BROWNE SPRING 2023 ensemble from the menswear collection & MARIA TASH which was layered up together in coordinating prints. It's a lot going on here but it feels so editorial.

Keke Palmer wore a floral CAROLINA HERRERA SPRING 2023 belted dress and coordinating boots. The dress is selling much better on the model but she was working it on the carpet.

Regina Hall wore a JASON WU COLLECTION dress which is similar to a piece from FALL 2022. I feel like the dress is slightly matronly on her and I would have loved to see her wearing gold cuffs.

Katie Holmes made an appearance wearing a JOHNATHAN SIMKHAI SPRING 2023 beaded fringe dress which was layered for coverage. I like her dress but the overall look doesn't excite.

Amanda Seyfried always delivers and she looked fantastic wearing MICHAEL KORS COLLECTION SPRING 2023 but the pants needed to be hemmed.

Zoey Deutch
was head to toe in COACH SPRING 2023 and she looked great. But I wish that she wore different shoes.

Christina Ricci wore a RODARTE SPRING 2023 floral and lace dress. I am not feeling the dress and that's all.

Olivia Culpo wore a ET OCHS SPRING 2022 strapless dress with the matching gloves. The gloves feel like they are wearing her.

Kerry Washington stepped out to support stylist Law Roach wearing a custom VERA WANG shorts suit. I'm not loving the design of the shorts.

Vanessa Hudgens wore a VERA WANG ensemble and she looked gorgeous indeed but it feels more lingerie like. However she made it look so good.

Khloe Kardashian wore a LAQUAN SMITH dress and honestly it's not a new look for her. She is just wrapped in fabric.

Kim Kardashian wore black latex, strapless dress by DOLCE & GABBANA and it's the same look, different designer. But I am not saying that she looks bad, it's just her style is so repetitive that its becoming boring.

Julia Fox definitely picked a ''look at me'' piece by VALERIEVI and it's not giving but if she's happy.

Kendall Jenner
also wore a dress by KHAITE. Her RESORT 2023 white sequin dress featured a short, v-neckline. It's a simple but pretty look.

Kylie Jenner wore one-shoulder black sheer & velvet dress with a thigh-split from the MUGLR FALL 1999 collection. She definitely didn't need the glove and she needed better shoes, like an ankle strap sandal.

Amber Valletta wore a red sequin embellished CONNER IVES FALL 2022 dress. It's sexy and she is pulling it off but I wish she wore better shoes.

Natasha Lyonne went the retro route, wearing a PROENZA SCHOULER SPRING 2023 ensemble. This is right up her style alley but I know she had some trouble walking in those pants.

Natalia Bryant a dress by TOM FORD and this coral hue look beautiful on her.

Lala worked her from in a white one-shoulder dress by RICK OWENS and she looked beautiful.

Cher stepped out in an all black ensemble by CHROME HEARTS and she still got it.

Ella Emhoff wore a KHAITE semi-sheer black dress accessorized with a PUPPERTS & PUPPETS bag and black boots.

Tinashe's
look came together nicely, with her wearing a Vintage CHRISTIAN DIOR SPRING 2000 leather dress from TAB VINTAGE.

Irina Shayk
wore a custom PARTOW pleated dress which she toughen up with a black blazer and boots.

Anok Yai is one beautiful woman and she looked stunning in a vintage GUCCI dress. The gold jewelry enhanced her look.

Rachel Brosnahan wore a SERGIO HUDSON FALL 2022 black mini dress with ankle boots. I actually prefer the runway's pink version but the black suits Rachel better.

Ashley Graham wore a brown PETER DO SPRING 2023 dress with gold accessories and I prefer how Ashley wore the dress versus how it was presented on the runway.
