''Shotgun Wedding'' LA Premiere

Jennifer Lopez is back with another wedding movie and the premiere took place yesterday evening(January 18th) at the TCL Chinese Theatre in LA.

Jennifer Lopez is always going to go with something a little see-through and sparkly but this VALENTINO FALL 2022 COUTURE piece is just confusing and weird. Like why is there a big yellow pussy bow tied around your waist under a nude sparkly dress? I feel like the dress would have been more defined if the bow was on the outside or even lined. Also, the bridal platforms are too heavy for such a delicate piece. This look is a head scratcher on & off the runway. A TYLER ELLIS clutch finished up her look.

D'Arcy Carden showed a little midriff in a CINQ-A-SEPT black crystal embellished crop with the matching side split skirt. It's not the most exciting look but it is a great one.

Jennifer Coolidge wore a SELF-PORTRAIT sheer black, ruched dress and I think it's a great fit on her. However, I dislike how that black panel was added on the mid-section. I don't think it was needed or it should have come all the way down to the hem. She looked great nonetheless.

Anne Winters wore a KIM KASSAS COUTURE ivory strapless, bustier & draped cutout dress. Love the top half, I really dislike the bottom half.

Xochitl Gomez wore looked gorgeous wearing a RALPH LAUREN black strapless dress. She arrived on the carpet wearing a nude fur stole but removed it for her pictures. Either way, I like this but I do have two quibbles. The dress needed to be hemmed and I would swap out the pointy toe pumps for sandals.

Callie Hernandez wore a black fringe dress by HERVER LEGER. Her styling was so much better than the look book's. She looked good.

Whitney Cummings wore a SANDY LIANG RESORT 20222 and it doesn't look good on her, specially with those almond toe pumps. She should have definitely gone with loafers or oxfords. But still, she doesn't have the edge to sell a unique piece like this.
