25th Costume Designers Guild Awards(CDGA)

Following their attendance at the SAG awards, Angela Bassett, Cate Blanchett and more attended the 25th Costume Designers Guild Awards(CDGA)

Angela Bassett was giving me matador vibe wearing this MOSCHINO PRE-FALL 2023 suit. She doesn't look bad but I feel like this would work on someone who is taller. Also, I feel like the platforms are too heavy.

Elizabeth Debicki could not be missed in this red SCHIAPARELLI SPRING 2023 v-neck dress which was accessorized with CHRISTOPHER THOMPSON ROYDS jewelry and GIANVITO ROSSI heels.

Cate Blanchett wore a BALMAIN PRE-FALL 2023 band jacket & a tie neck, dotted blouse. On this occasion, I wish that she kept the jeans.

Hunter Schafer's stylist dipped into the PRADA archives for this SPRING 1997 sheer layered dress. I almost wish the bandeau & skirt underneath were the same color as the sheer dress but this suits her.

Monica Barbaro looked gorgeous wearing a MAISON YEYA silver lace embroidered, ruffle dress which was accessorized with NORMAN SILVERMAN jewelry and CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN sandals.

Christina Ricci wore a RAISA VANESSA FALL 2022 burgundy transparent v-neck maxi dress. I like the dress but not the styling. The gold hardware pops perfectly against that burgundy hue which is why I don't get the black bag or platforms. The platforms are way too heavy for this dress. Gold would have been better.

  1. Katherine's look was very nice, ignoring the creases. Christina's heavy platforms were all wrong. The maroon looked good on her.
