65th GRAMMY Awards

The 65th Annual GRAMMY Awards was held yesterday evening(February 5th) at the Crypto.com Arena in LA with Trevor Noah on-hand as the host. 

Cardi B. is always going to serve a look and slay at it. She wore a GAURAV GUPTA SPRING 2023 COUTURE cobalt blue sculpted gown and she looked amazing.

Lizzo brought some beautiful drama as always, wearing a custom DOLCE & GABBANA orange floral appliqué cape and corset dress. Love the cape which is the star here but I'm not sold on the quality of the dress. 

Doja Cat made a shiny entrance wearing a custom ATELIER VERSACE black one-shoulder, latex gown with the coordinating opera gloves. Her beauty look was flawless, this was a win overall. 

Brandi Carlile was suited in ATELIER VERSACE as well and I liked her look. The fuchsia shirt provided the perfect pop of color but the pants needed to be hemmed. 

Anitta also came through in a ATELIER VERSACE, wearing a black strapless gown from the SPRING 2003 COUTURE collection with TIFFANY & CO jewelry. It dramatic and edgy with a sexy appeal. 

Bebe Rexha wore a MOSCHINO SPRING 2023 pink crisscross halter dress with the matching opera gloves. I feel like the dress looks much better on the model minus the colorful dolphin sleeves. There is just too much going on around the bust and the crisscross detail is not flattering.

Charlotte Lawrence wore a SAINT LAURENT RESORT 2023 dress with a cutout midriff. The red lip added a touch of edge but it wasn't enough to give her look some life. I think that she should have added some statement jewelry. 

Shania Twain wore a HARRIS REED SPRING 2023 white & black polka dot sequin hat and suit which hits the costume border. 

Laverne Cox wore a KIM KASSAS black strapless gown and she looked gorgeous. Also I am kinda glad that she left the train out because she nailed it without it. 

Miguel stepped out in a DIESEL SPRING 2023 denim ensemble and I like this for him.

Coco Jones utilized the split on her ZUHAIR MURAD SPRING 2023 gold sequin dress which hits the prom border but she still looked beautiful. 

Michelle Branch wore a AREA SPRING 2023 black dress with a chainmail bust. It's simple but greta look.

Lourdes also wore a dress from the AREA SPRING 2023 collection. I like her red crystal embellished dress but it's too tight on the bust. 

Taylor Swift wore a ROBERTO CAVALLI blue two-piece, crystal embellished crop top and floor length skirt. She looked pretty but this feels a bit basic but I love those earrings. 

Kelsea Ballerini stoodout in a yellow PRABAL GURUNG dress which she paired with matching STUART WEITZMAN yellow sandals. Love the color on her and it's probably one of her best looks. 

Sam Smith wore custom VALENTINO COUTURE and I wish that the hat was left out but it kinda adds that crazy drama to the rest of his look that is an ode to him & Kim's song ''Unholy'' which I love. 

Kacey Musgraves also wore custom VALENTINO COUTURE. Her pink catsuit was teamed with a playful feather cape and NICOLE ROSE jewelry. I would have liked her STUART WEITZMAN pumps more if they weren't satin. 

Babyface stepped out in a VALENTINO FALL 2022 black sequin bomber jacket and I am glad that he ditched the matching pants. 

Kim Petras wore a Vintage VICTOR COSTA red bridal inspired ensemble. The dress is very 80's inspired and it also speaks to the tone of her & Sam's hit song.

Harry Styles wore a custom EGONLAB x SWAROVSKI jumpsuit and regardless if we like his style or not, he picks pieces that's right up his style alley. 

Julia Michaels wore a cutout & double split AZZI & OSTA dress with CASADEI sandals. It's not my favorite look but it works for the occasion.

Camila Cabello wore a PATBO dress with STUART WEITZMAN sandals. It's a sexy look indeed but I dislike the lace top and I feel like the head styling doesn't match up. 

Mary J. Blige also wore THE BLONDS SPRING 2023 and I can't say that I am sold on this dress for her. 

Sheryl Crow wore a ALEXANDER MCQUEEN FALL 2022 black strapless dress. I feel like she should have gone with a simple, strappy sandal because these platform pumps are too heavy.  

Miranda Lambert wore a playful, custom LE THANH HOA black & silver fringe dress. I kinda like the dress but the head styling doesn't compliment it. 

Olivia Rodrigo kept it simple in a MIU MIU sheer black floor gazing dress. This is so boring. 

Pharrell Williams & wife both Helen Lasichanh went the retro route, rocking the same ERNEST W. BAKER FALL 2023 quilted leather ensemble. He wore red & she wore the black look book version. The red stands out more but they cute. 

Ella Mai wore an off the shoulder MONSOORI gown with a long train. I don't think this is a bad look, it just doesn't excite. 

Omar Apollo wore a BOTTEGA VENETA SPRING 2023 ensemble and the addition of the leather blazer helped to elevate it.
