2023 BET Awards

Yesterday evening(June 25th) celebs hit the pink carpet for the 2023 BET Awards which was held at the Microsoft Theater in LA.

Demi Singleton is back on the carpet and she wore head to toe black courtesy of MIU MIU. It's a bit to dressed down for this awards but it's still cool and chic.  

Shameik Moore wore a GRAYSCALE ½ Kiltie short suit set which was accessorized with VERSACE & CHOSEN CHARMS jewelry and MAISON MARGIELA boots. I dislike like the pleated skirt panel but the way he was styled from head to toe, made his look come off as smooth and chic. I like it. 

Akira Akbar wore a bridal inspired RODARTE PRE-FALL 2023 that I feel would have been more suited for a premiere or even the Globes. Also, I feel like the hair should have been in an up-do but generally speaking, she looked great in this dress. 

Flo Milli looked great wearing a SALVATORE FERRAGAMO SPRING 2023 two-tone mini dress which was accessorized with GIANVITO ROSSI sandals. 

Janelle James served up some leg wearing a black & gold trim TOM FORD mini dress. 

JT wore a JEAN PAUL GAULTIER FALL 2022 COUTURE off-the-shoulder gown with detachable sleeves. This gown looked better on the runway and it looks so overwhelming on her. 

Latto utilized the split on her sheer black dress by MONOT and if it looks familiar, that's because Eva Longoria recently wore it first. 

Queen Naija wore a RICK OWENS metallic dress. If a stylist dressed, I can't believe this dress wasn't hemmed for her. The bottom looked bad. 

Eva Marcille wore a sparkled bra top with GENNY FALL 2022 pants and I like the pants better with the coat. However, it's too hot for it. 

GloRilla wore a DAVID KOMA PRE-FALL 2023 feather and sequin halter dress. I wish that this was all sequins but the top is very ill-fitting. 

Coco Jones wore a LQUAN SMITH SPRING 2023 off-the-shoulder red sequin, cutout dress. It worked for the occasion but I don't really like it. 

Ice Spice wore a DOLCE & GABBANA FALL 2023 sheer black dress and this is very unflattering on her. Even though I think this would work better lined, the model sold it better.
