Doja Cat wore a custom MONSE dress and it feels like something that I would see for Halloween. Also, I feel like she should have gown with metallic sandals.
Anitta wore a SCHIAPARELLI FALL 2023 COUTURE strapless gown and that top half is way too complicated. It just doesn't work. It's more of an editorial piece.
Karol G wore a ASHI STUDIO FALL 2023 COUTURE coat and gown. That color doesn't work on her and the look is nothing fresh.
Saweetie was serving Flintstones vibes wearing a AREA FALL 2023 pink crystal embroidered dress with bone details.
Demi Lovato wore a look from the BUERLANGMA SPRING 2023 collection and I'm not sure what's happening here.
Olivia Rodrigo wore a sparkly LUDOVIC DE SAINT SERNIN dress with ROGER VIVIER heels. I like the dress but it's too tight on the bust.
Pretty Vee wore a backless dress by QUINE LI and I thought she looked great, especially the back of the dress. However, the neckline against her chin looks weird.
Gorilla utilized the split on her DAVID KOMA PRE-FALL 2023 black cutout dress. I think this dress is over designed but it does look better with the boots in the look book. Also, the fit on the bust is really bad.
Rita Ora showed off her décolletage in a black off-the-shoulder RODARTE FALL 2023 dress with long cape sleeves. I like this dress on her but not with those glittery platform boots.
Chloe Bailey wore a ROBERTO CAVALLI FALL 2023 blue denim & velvet thigh-high split dress. I think she looks gorgeous but this would work better on someone taller.
Doechii wore a look from the DSQUARED2 FALL 2023 collection. This would be better on someone taller and the fit seems off. I'm not loving this on her but it works for the occasion and her skin is flawless.
Madelyn Cline wore a custom GIVENCHY RESORT 2024 dress. I actually prefer the look book version. That color isn't working on her.
Cardi B wore a DILARA FINDIKOGLU FALL 2023 embellished floor length dress which was shown in a shorter version on the runway. I wish she wore the dress was in a shorter or midi version because this length isn't working.
Colton Haynes wore a DIOR MEN'S PRE-FALL 2023 white suit with a pleated waist skirt. I kinda like this but it's too hot for that turtleneck and the pants needed to be hemmed.
Sofia Carson ditched her signature gowns for this creation from the ALEXANDRE VAUTHIER FALL 2022 COUTURE collection. The problem here is that it's just not working on her or on the runway but I can see Tracee Ellis Ross rocking it.
Shakira who is being honored, wore two different dresses by VERSACE. I feel like I have seen these dresses before but she doesn't look bad.
Taylor Swift wore a black VERSACE thigh-high split dress with gold hardware. I like the dress but her overall look is quite boring. I feel like she doesn't have that edgy appeal to pull a dress like this off, especially with that hairstyle.
Selena Gomez wore a custom hand-beaded scarlet red gown, featuring a halter neckline and floral tendril skirt by OSCAR DE LA RENTA. I kinda like this but the makeup needed to be edgy.
Ice Spice looked like a baby doll wearing a custom look by DOLCE & GABBANA but I'm not feeling it.
Nicki Minaj wore a pink DOLCE & GABBANA pink bridal look. I feel like that seam on her thighs needed to be lower but I can't say that I am loving this.
Thalia wore a look from the DOLCE & GABBANA collection which had potential. Her hair needed to be in a sleek, off-the-shoulder hairstyle and she should have kept the runway sandals.
Shenseea also DOLCE & GABBANA FALL 2023. Her lingerie inspired look was partially covered up with a fur coat. Yes it works for the occasion but it's not my favorite look.
Ashanti carried a clutch with a pic of her & Nelly paired with a MONICA IVENA crystal beaded gown. Ashanti is beautiful but I'm not feeling this.
Kelsea Ballerini wore a red MONOT cutout dress that looks too long on her.
Emily Ratajkowski wore a Vintage JEAN PAUL GAULTIER from OPULENT crisscross, cutout halter dress. It's cute, sexy number that works on her.
Yung Miami served us with a sexy look wearing HAN KJOBENHAVN SPRING 2023 strapless bodysuit with dramatic cape sleeves. This would be a great performance piece but either way, it worked for the occasion.
Coco Jones showed off her toned abs in a MOSCHINO FALL 2023 black leather, belt top with the matching leather, center front zipper pants. The jewelry doesn't belong nowhere near this ensemble.
Sabrina Carpenter wore a custom VERA WANG layered gown. It's the design of the top half that's not working for me.
Bebe Rexha wore a custom THE UNCOMMONIST black leather dress with cutouts & a ponytail on the butt. This is a no for me.
Nelly Furtado is back on the carpet and. she has new music coming out. She wore a backless DUNDAS RESORT 2024 floor length dress. I feel like she is missing statement bracelets or cuffs.
Tinashe hit the carpet in a see-through crystal beaded dress by STELLA MCCARTNEY and GIUSEPPE ZANOTTI platform sanadals. Duck tape was used to cover up her lady parts which didn't come off as flattering especially on the crotch. It works for this type of awards show but lining would have made this a win.
