On Wednesday(December 3rd) the 2023 some celebs hit the red carpet for the 2023 New York Film Critics Circle Awards which was held at TAO Downtown in NYC.
Rebecca Hall went the bridal route, wearing head to toe DANIELLE FRANKEL with a TYLER ELLIS clutch. I think this would have looked better on her in a different color and if it was lined. Also, I feel like open-toe heels would have been a better shoe choice.
Lily Gladstone wore a SARA CHRAIBI FALL 2023 COUTURE two-tone strapless, pleated gown. I like the idea behind her look but the neckline is too high and the overall appeal of the top is not flattering on her.
Da'Vine Joy Randolph sparkled in a RALPH LAUREN black sequin, tuxedo dress dress. I feel like she needed an up-do here and the dress looks a bit too tight on her, but her look still works for the occasion.
Francesca Scorsese wore a black leather belted dress by GIORGIO ARMANI with side pockets which she utilized. I like the pairing of this with boots but I feel like it wasn't dressy enough for the occasion. However, it was still a great look.
Charles Melton rocked a LOUIS VUITTON PRE-FALL 2024 black leather suit. Baggy pants like this are hard to sell, but I feel like in this case, it suits Charles.
Cara Jade Myers was all smiles wearing a VERONICA BEARD FALL 2023 black crystal embellished dress and she looked great. However, she should have gone with a simple ankle strap sandal instead of a focus pulling pump. The dress is the focal point here, so it didn't need a competitor.
