29th Critics Choice Awards

Following the BAFTA's Tea, Greta Gerwig, Rosamund Pike, Greta Lee, Julianne Moore, Fantasia Barrino, Bella Ramsey, Emily Blunt and more attended the 29th annual Critics Choice awards which was held at the Barker Hangar on Sunday(January 14th) in Santa Monica, California. Margot Robbie wore a custom BALMAIN red off-the-shoulder gown with rosettes across the neckline. A bold red lip would have finished this off perfectly. 

Greta Lee ditched wearing a dress for this shimmery pants ensemble from the LOEWE SPRING 2024 men collection. She is totally owning this look and I actually like this. However, I wish the pants weren't so creased. 

Alison Oliver wore a LOEWE SPRING 2024 white strapless, draped dress. The dress doesn't coordinate with the shoes and she needed a necklace.

Keri Russell wore a STEPHANE ROLLAND FALL 2023 COUTURE white gown with flower appliqué down the center, a cutout back and a draped train. Love this gown, especially the back but I feel this is overwhelming on her. CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN shoes, a TYLER ELLIS bag, and FERNANDO JORGE jewelry.

Angela Bassett wore a PAMELLA ROLAND FALL 2023 black & silver embellished, off-the-shoulder dress which was accessorized with a EFFY ring, AFICIONADO earrings & a SUZANNE KALAN cuff. It's not the most exciting look, but she does look pretty.   

Rebecca Romijn showed off her décolletage as well wearing a off-the-shouder gown by PAMELLA ROLAND. However, I don't like how the detailing was modified on Rebecca's RESORT 2024 gown. I prefer the look book's version. 

Tracee Ellis Ross wore a FENDI FALL 2023 COUTURE black knit top wrapped in a stretch corset and silk georgette skirt. I kinda wish you wore the runway's olive hue because I think that she could have pulled it off, especially if she wore statement gold jewelry. I feel like she needed a statement gold necklace and/or cuffs to elevate her all black look. 

Quinta Brunson wore a GOERGES HOBEIKA SPRING 2023 sheer black & flower embroidered gown which was accessorized with NICOLE ROSE jewelry. I like that the straps were altered from the runway's version but there are still fit issues with it. 

America Ferrera wore a custom brown sequin gown by ALBERTA FERRETTI. It's a simple but pretty look and I like this brown hue. POMELLATO jewelry finished up her look. 

Jenny Slate wore a ALBERTA FERRETTI SPRING 2023 light pink silk chiffon, sleeveless high neck gown with a keyhole cutout and fluttered hem. I like the gown but not the color on her. RAHAMINOV diamonds finished up her look.

Cara Jade Meyers wore a PETAR PETROV RESORT 2024 gold dress, The problem here are those sleeves. I wish that they were the same fabric as the top of the dress. Also, the color is not the best on her. A SIMONE necklace and SANTONI heels finished up her look. 

Mario Bello made a rare appearance wearing a FALGUNI SHANE PEACOCK SPRING 2024 ensemble which was accessorized with RAHAMINOV DIAMONDS, STATE PROPERTY, and WHITE SPACE jewelry. I like the idea of this look, the skirt needed to be styled with a white button down shirt with long sleeves. 

Richa Moorjani wore a JONATHAN SIMKHAI SPRING 2023 strapless semi-sheer, silver embellished dress which was accessorized with MINDI MOND & DENA KEMP jewelry. The bag is a bit distracting because it competing with the dress.

Elizabeth Debicki wore a OSCAR DE LA RENTA PRE-FALL 2024 jumpsuit which was accessorized with DIOR fine jewelry and BETSEY JOHNSON heels. The top washes her but I feel like necklace would help. However, the jumpsuit looks much better on the model. 

Rachel Brosnahan wore a GIVENCHY PRE-FALL 2024 black pearl embellished, slit detail dress. Although, I thought she looked pretty, I am not a fan of the cutout bodice and I feel like a simpler sandal would have been a better shoe choice over the ANDREA WAZEN platforms that she is wearing. 

Ali Wong wore a GIVENCHY SPRING 2024 green silk-chiffon & floral embroidered dress. I am glad that she left the belt out. However, I kinda wish this was made navy or black. The green is not the best on her. 

Juno Temple also wore a dress by GIVENCHY. However, nothing is working here. The headband, bag and the keyhole detail, just doesn't work. 

Julianne Moore wore a strapless CHANEL COUTURE gown with side pockets which she utilized. This is just a bad look, that's all. 

Camila Morrone wore a CHANEL SPRING 2022 COUTURE white fringe hem, peplum gown with a contrasting black bow on the neckline. It's not a bad look for her but it's not the best. 

Bel Powley wore a CHANEL SPRING 2023 COUTURE white tweed, embroidered skirt suit. She should have left the bow choker out and a gold metallic heel would have been a better shoe choice. 

Allison Williams looked gorgeous wearing a ZUHAIR MURAD SPRING 2024 white strapless & silver beaded jumpsuit which was accessorized with ANITA KO jewelry and SALVATORE FERRAGAMO shoes. 

Ayo Edebiri went the comfy route, opting for a simple THE ROW SPRING 2024 white suit, styled with black flats. I kinda like this but the pants needed to be hemmed. 

Ariana Greenblatt wore a LOUIS VUITTON SPRING 2024 black leather & white layered, pleated skirt. For me, this it too mature for her.  

Emma Stone wore a black one-shoulder LOUIS VUITTON dress with a scalloped neckline and a tie waist. Even though this doesn't look great against that backdrop, she looked gorgeous. 

Jodie Foster wore a custom LOUIS VUITTON suit and the fit was perfection. This was a great look for her. 

Mandy Moore showed a little skin wearing a ELIE SAAB SPRING 2024 red cutout beaded dress with RAHAMINOV diamonds. 

Greta Gerwig wore a MOLLY GOODARD SPRING 2023 white balloon gown with red accessories which included a TYLER ELLIS clutch for a pop of color. However, this doesn't look flattering on her and the fabric is not helping. 

Awkwfina wore a CHRISTIAN DIOR SPRING 2023 COUTURE black & ivory lace embroidered gown. She looked pretty but I'm not sold on the fabric and her hair needed to be completely off-the-shoulders.  

Abby Ryder Fortson a vintage CHRISTIAN DIOR fishtail tuxedo. She looked great but it gives ''cater waiter'' vibes. 

Kaley Cuoco wore a CHRISTIAN DIOR COUTURE black strapless, tea length dress and logo slingback pumps. The styling is a snooze, nor does her hair or makeup compliment it. 

Calista Flockhart posed with husband Harrison Ford wearing a ERDEM PRE-FALL 2024 pink floral, bow dress with MINDI MOND and NICOLE ROSE jewelry. The gloves were not needed. 

Billie Eilish wore a look by THOM BROWNE. I kinda like the top half of the dress but the bottom half is definitely a no. 

Bella Ramsey also wore THOM BROWNE, but she chose a more fun, interesting suit that she pulled off. 

Danielle Brooks served up some drama wearing a MONSOORI playful feather gown with NORMAN SILVERMAN & GRAZIELA GEMS jewelry. 

Christina Ricci wore a custom ATSUKO KUDO black strapless gown with a BUCHERER necklace. This is sexy, and edgy with a goth touch. I actually like this on her. However, I would swap put the pumps for an open-toe heel. 

Sarah Snook wore a custom CONG TRI black skirt suit. This is a classic, sophisticated look, but the sleeves are too long.

Sandra Oh wore a HARBISON RESORT 2024 white halter gown with gold jewelry. She looked gorgeous. 

Rosamund Pike could not be missed wearing a RODARTE blue sequin, halter dress with a rosette on the waist. Love the color.

Da'Vine Joy Randolph wore a custom JOVANA LOUIS gown with NORMAN SILVERMAN jewelry. This design just feels too similar to her previous looks. 

Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor wore a custom JOVANA LOUIS tuxedo gown which was accessorized with MIRACO jewelry, and BEAUTIISOLES shoes. Love this but I kinda wish the tie was a different color. 

Fantasia Barrino worked the split on her custom ALIN LE'KAL white strapless gown and for playful drama, it was paired with a feather train. 

Dua Lipa wore a red strapless, beaded dress by PRADA and I actually like it. However, she needs a necklace and the hair doesn't compliment the tone of her look at all. 

Brie Larson wore a black PRADA gown with the label signature train draping. The hair doesn't seem to compliment and I wish that draped panel wasn't in the front. Other than that, she looked great. 

Brit Marling returned to the carper wearing a yellow strapless dress by PRADA. We have seen this look from the fashion house on numerous occasions, especially with the draped train in the back. This is missing a necklace and I would swap out the black shoes for metallic.

Jennifer Aniston wore a DOLCE & GABBANA black strapless, jumpsuit with a draped train on the side. I mean, it's not a bad look but it's still a snooze. 

Natasha Lyonne wore an all black look by DOLCE & GABBANA as well. I feel like the skirt would have looked better with a white button down shirt. 

Taraji P Henson wore a custom BOSS white strapless dress with a center front split. A statement necklace and ankle strap sandals could have elevated this. 

Lily Gladstone wore a custom CHRISTIAN SIRIANO cobalt blue gown and she looked fantastic. Love this color on her as well. 

Sheryl Lee Ralph kept it simple but pretty in a CD GREENE nude beaded dress which was accessorized with DA BEERS jewelry and ROGER VIVIER heels. 

Reese Witherspoon wore custom CELINE dress and I'm bored. It's nothing fresh from what she usually does.
