Ahead of the big awards show, the 96th Oscar Nominee Luncheon was held on Monday(February 12th) in the International Ballroom at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills.
Margot Robbie is still living in her Barbie moment, wearing a look by CHANEL. Her SPRING 1994 custom skirt looked great and I like it. However, I kinda wish that she wore different shoes.
Colman Domingo wore looked great in a classic look by GIVENCHY with DAVID YURMAN jewelry. The only thing that I feel is missing, is a necklace.
Ryan Gosling wore a lavender GUCCI suit. I like the color but his overall look doesn't excite. Maybe if a brooch or pocket square was added.
Lily Gladstone wore a GABRIELA HEARST SPRING 2024 white suit. the detailed lapels and earrings made her look standout. This was a great choice for the luncheon, but the pants needed to be hemmed.
America Ferrera wore a ALEX PERRY PRE-FALL 2024 dress which was accessorized with a KATE SPADE NY bag and CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN pumps. I'm not feeling this dress on her. I think it's the shoulder pads and the ruching. Also, I like the playful feather bag, but it doesn't work here.
Emma Stone wore a LOUIS VUITTON suit that featured a two-tone, exposed zipper. I actually prefer the sleeveless version, especially with the zipper closed.
Annette Bening wore a STELLA MCCARTNEY SPRING 2024 khaki suit and I seriously need to know if the was steamed before she left wherever she got dressed. Also, the pants needed to be hemmed.
Billie Eilish wore a VIVIENNE WESTWOOD FALL 2023 ensemble and it looks like a bunch of pieces were grabbed and thrown together. This is a no for me.
Carey Mulligan wore a ALAIA FALL 2023 COUTURE black dress which was adorned with a gold metal belt. I'm not sold on the shoes, but this is not a bad look.
Emily Blunt wore a purple ZIMMERMANN SPRING 2024 silk blouse and belted trousers. Don't get me wrong, I like this on Emily, but it looks much cleaner in the look book. Also, I feel like the pants needed to be hemmed.
Greta Gerwig wore a PRADA SPRING 2024 dress. I am glad that the lining was added and a belt, but I wish the belt wasn't knotted like that. It doesn't look great. Also, I like the idea of the socks and pumps, but it's not working here.
Ilker Catak the director of ''The Teachers' Lounge'', looked great wearing a MAX THOMAS SANDERSON black tie-waist suit.
Robert Downey Jr. turned to his go to designer, STELLA MCCARTNEY. This is look was perfect for him, too bad the pants needed to be steamed and hemmed properly.
Cillian Murphy kept it simple in a brown two-piece suit. Simple is what works for him, but I would have loved to see a brooch added.
Sandra Huller wore a VALENTINO SPRING 2023 COUTURE color-block ensemble with MANOLO BLAHNIK kitten heel mules. I like the idea of this but not the yellow top or the uneven hemmed skirt.

Girl everything here was a no from you. Speaking from experience, all these looks would have been steamed, the moment they get in a car and sit down that all goes out the window. You are literally comparing these looks to a model in a cookbook who is standing perfectly still. These are real life people attending an event. Your asking for too much lol.

Also, I am speaking from experience as well, because I do wardrobe styling and I 100% know that their clothes could have gotten wrinkle from sitting in the car. Just like you said what you said, so did I and I stand on it. - TFS
