'Madame Web' LA Premiere

Yesterday evening(February 13th) the premiere of 'Madame Web' was held at the Regency Village Theatre in Westwood, Los Angeles.

Dakota Johnson wore a custom GUCCI net embellished dress. Sorry but I am not feeling this. The nude bodysuit underneath is not a got look and it brings down the design which should have been lined. 

Sydney Sweeney wore a custom OSCAR DE LA RENTA black strapless, beaded dress. I get it, web design as an ode to the film but the execution for the red carpet missed the mark. Why would you pair a visible nude corset & thong underneath. 

Emma Roberts could not be missed in a vibrant red CAROLINA HERRERA PRE-FALL 2024 off-the-shoulder dress. This was a great choice but the hair is underwhelming and a necklace was needed. 

Holland Roden wore a ANTONIO GRIMALDI COUTURE off-the-shoulder cocktail dress. The dress is too tight on the bust and the sandals are focus pulling. 

Isabela Merced went the vintage route, wearing VERSACE SPRING 1999 COUTURE black off-the-shoulder beaded dress from TAB VINTAGE. Sorry, but she is not making this dress sing like Naomi did on the runway. For her, I wish the top matched the bottom. 

Tahar Rahim wore a khaki LOUIS VUITTON suit and that basic tee is doing nothing for him with this suit. 

Celeste O'Connor wore a GERT-JOHAN COETZEE red satin cape and a red beaded, halter dress. It was somewhat on theme, but she didn't need that cape. 

Xochitl Gomez wore a MATICEVSKI SPRING 2020 black ruffle, one-shoulder gown. I feel like the gown is wearing her more than she is wearing it. Also, the sheer gloves wasn't needed and I would swap out the pumps for ankle strap sandals. 

Zosia Mamet wore a BRANDON MAXWELL RESORT 2024 white ankle length dress. This is simple, but it works for her. I think that she should have kept the necklace though.
