77th Cannes Film Festival 'The Second Act' Premiere & Opening Ceremony

Following her attendance at a photocall and the jury photocall, Meryl Streep, Greta Gerwig, Eva Green, Lily Gladstone and more hit the red carpet for the 77th Cannes Film Festival 'The Second Act' premiere and opening ceremony which was held this evening(May 14th) in France.

Juliette Binoche was in tune with the carpet, wearing a red off-the-shoulder CHRISTIAN DIOR COUTURE gown and I can't say that I am loving this. I think it's more so the fabric. Also, I am having a hard time getting onboard with the wet hair trend. It doesn't work here.

Greta Gerwig came through sparkling in a plum SAINT LAURENT sequin, center front split dress. I actually like this, especially the color. It's a simple but sexy look. I just wish a necklace was added.

Eva Green wore a GIORGIO ARMANI PRIVE SPRING 2016 COUTURE strapless gown and it is giving me vintage prom vibes. Also, I am not loving the hair.

Heidi Klum served up some leg action wearing a SAIID KOBEISY SPRING 2024 COUTURE red gown. I feel like the model wearing this so much better. The straps look better up and I would swap the pumps for ankle strap sandals. Also, I feel like a much better head styling was needed.

Jane Fonda made a rare appearance wearing a ELIE SAAB PRE-FALL 2019 black embellished jumpsuit with a leopard coat over her shoulders. If you look closely, the neckline and the hemline was shorten for her. However, I don't like the execution. Something looks off, especially at the top.

Lea Seydoux wore a sexy LOUIS VUITTON off-the-shoulder dress with a center front split and a train detail. I like the idea of this dress, but the something about the sleeves look off. I'm not loving this though.

Lily Gladstone went the sparkle route as well, wearing another look by GUCCI. This is not a totally bad look, but it's not the most flattering on her.

Vicky Krieps was head to toe in CHANEL FALL 2019 COUTURE and there is nothing going on here that I like. The gown wouldn't have been so bad if the pocket flaps on the top weren't white. Overall, I don't think this was a good outing for her.
