On Saturday(November 2nd) the 13th LACMA Art + Film Gala which was presented by Gucci, was held at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art in LA. All of the guests were wearing GUCCI unless otherwise stated.
Viola Davis glowed beautifully in a black sequin, cape sleeve dress with a playful fringe hem. She dressed up her look with SABYASACHI jewelry.
Kaia Gerber wore a mint dress with a playful, feather hem and she looked pretty. However, I wish the bra cups were the same pattern as her dress.
Colman Domingo rocked a black velvet, logo suit and he looked good as always. I almost wish a gold or silver brooch was added to break up the black, but I still like this.
Andrew Garfield gave us a little color by rocking a rich burgundy suit. I feel like the jacket should have been buttoned with a tie. Love the color.
Charli XCX showed off her midriff in a two-piece embellished ensemble. This would have been great in a one-piece, but she is young and it is working on her.
Mikey Madison chose a more elegant look, wearing a white sleeveless, column dress with a slit under the bust and a cape that flowed into a train in the back.
Danielle Deadwyler could not be missed wearing a yellow two-piece ensemble. Love the color, hate the fabric. Also, I feel like the skirt needed to shorten about an inch.
Yara Shahidi wore looked gorgeous wearing a brown halter dress. She proved that 'less is more' works, but I fell like an inch or two needed to come off the hem.
Eiza Gonzalez stood out as well, wearing an orange sheer pleated dress. Eiza wore a matching orange bra & briefs under her flowy dress for coverage.
Cara Delevingne showed a little skin wearing a black long sleeve, draped cutout dress. This is simple but yet pretty. However, I would have loved to see a brooch on her dress.
Tina Knowles rocked a black suit with playful feather cuffs. The jacket looks a little tight, but she still looked great.
Laura Dern wore a black lace dress with nude underlining for coverage. I would have liked this better with black underlining and an off-the-shoulder hairstyle, but I'm still not feeling the design.
Kim Kardashain served up some cleavage action wearing a white plunging neckline dress with a coat from the label's SPRING 2025 collection. She dressed up her sultry look with a choker and a necklace that once belonged to Princess Diana.
Blake Lively showed some skin in a TAMARA RALPH FALL 2023 COUTURE beaded mini dress and an orange silk-faille voluminous cape coat. The coat definitely added drama to her sexy mini dress, but I don't think that she is selling. She really needed a pull back hairstyle and the is not my favorite on her.
Chloe Sevigny wore a SAINT LAURENT SPRING 2025 skirt suit that has a lot going on with it and if anyone could rock a look like this, it's her.
Michelle Rodriguez wore a GAURAV GUPTA SPRING 2024 COUTURE grey strapless, dress-jumpsuit and the fit is really bad on her.
Ellie Goulding wore a BOTTEGA VENETA RESORT 2024 dress and I wish the draping was the same on her as it was in the look book.
Soo Joo Park was head to toe in BALENCIAGA FALL 2024 and she utilized the split on her grey strapless dress. I'm not loving the head styling or the fabric of the dress, but somehow it's working together.
Anna Kendrick could not be missed wearing a strapless OSCAR DE LA RENTA chartreuse layered dress with a contrasting brown velvet tie under the bust.
Emily Ratajkowski wore a vintage DONNA KARAN brown off-the-shoulder satin and velvet, drop-waist dress. The head styling is on point, but I feel like the top half doesn't work with the bottom half, fabric wise.
Greta Lee wore a THE ROW RESORT 2025 black pleated, off-the-shoulder dress. If anyone could pull this off, it's Greta. This suits her perfectly.
Lisa Ann Walter worked her frame in a black velvet off the shoulder gown with a floral taffeta trim from the GRETA CONSTANTINE FALL 2024 collection.
Sarah Paulson wore a ALTUZARRA SPRING 2025 two-tone dress. Sarah tends to gravitate to difficult pieces that doesn't necessarily work for her, but this one suits her.
Troye Sivan performed at the event wearing a PRADA SPRING 2025 ensemble which should have stayed on the runway.
