2025 National Board of Review Gala

Following the Golden Globe awards, Elle Fanning, Cynthia Erivo, Michelle Yeoh and more attended the 2025 National Board of Review annual awards gala which was held at Cipriani 42nd Street on Monday(January 7th) in New York City.

Elle Fanning popped out in a VALENTINO PRE-FALL 2025 look that has a retro vibe to it that she is really pulling off. However, I wish the dress was in a different color way. Something on the richer side. 

Cynthia Erivo is wearing a custom LOEWE SPRING 2025 dress which is making me want to hula hoop. The top half of her looks great, but the bottom is just weirdly fun.  

Nicole Kidman looked great wearing this archival dress from the JEAN PAUL GAULTIER FALL 2014 COUTURE collection. Her flirty, open-back black dress featured white pearl detailing on the cuffs and around the neckline which flowed into the back. 

Ariana Grande wore a Bespoke LOEWE pink satin dress with the matching shawl. From the color to the fabric and those white almond toe pumps, this look is all sorts of wrong. 

Mikey Madison wore LOUIS VUITTON black drop shoulder dress and that has similar pieces like it in the label's Spring 2025 collection. I am not loving this either. The fabric nor the color. Also, the fit looks off. 

Michelle Yeoh wore a SHIATZY CHEN FALL 2024 black drop waist dress and I thought she looked great. Although, I wish that her hair was completely off-the-shoulders

Sofia Coppola wore a CHANEL SPRING 2023 black skirt suit. I wish the skirt was fully lined, but I like the top half of her look.
