30th Critics Choice Awards Wrap-up

On Friday(February 7th) the 30th annual Critics Choice Awards was held at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California. To see all of the celeb looks, click HERE and continue below for the wrap-up.

Colman Domingo can literally do no wrong when it comes to his style. His team does right by him and he looked cool as can be in this look by BOSS. The SPRING 2024 chocolate brown suede coat with styled with a custom suit. He knows how to work a look on the carpet.

Shanola Hampton sparkled beautifully in a VALDRIN SAHITI black semi-sheer, crystal embellished gown with a playful feather train. Something about the fit looks off on the bust, but I still thought this was a great look. NEIL LANE jewelry finished off her look.

Cynthia Erivo looked gorgeous wearing a ARMANI PRIVE SPRING 2024 COUTURE black peplum dress and on this occasion, her long nails aren't a distraction.

Jodie Foster was a sparkling beauty in a GIORGIO ARMANI PRIVE COUTURE sequin dress.

Hiroyuki Sanada walked away a winner wearing a GIORGIO ARMANI suit with DAVID YURMAN accessories.

Andrew Scott wore a custom suit by BRIONI which he accessorized with a RETORUVAI necklace and CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN shoes. I like the idea of his look, but the color of the loafers and pants are throwing me off. Also, I wish the pants were hemmed.

Matt Bomer could not be missed wearing a BERLUTI fuchsia suede blazer with a fuchsia silk shirt underneath and black trousers. This color looked great on him, but I'm not feeling the color of his shoes.

Melanie Zanetti
showed a little skin in a CATHERINE REGEHR light blue jewel neck, cutout gown and rosettes on the waist. A colored lip added a complimentary pop of color to her gorgeous look.

Ella Hunt
looked pretty wearing a FENDI SPRING 2024 COUTURE silver embellished dress. My only quibble is that I would swap out the pointy toe pumps for an open-toe heel.

Nava Mau could not be missed either as she opted for a shiny silver dress by FENDI. Her sequin Couture piece featured contrasting black straps. This is not working for me because the fit is off and the pumps are too pointy.

Orlando Bloom wore a burgundy notch lapel suit by FENDI. The color was a great choice, but I feel like a needed a piece of jewelry to enhance this.

Angelina Jolie
wore a ELIE SAAB SPRING 2025 nude lace layered dress. It's giving deja vu because I feel like I have seen her in the silhouette a lot. To avoid wash out, she added a bold red lip to her beauty look. However, I wish that she would stray away from this color.

Janelle James
ditched wearing a long dress or gown for a masculine inspired her from WARDROBE NYC. She black sculpted blazer dress was accessorized with NEIL LANE jewelry, WOLFORD tights and ALEXANDRE BIRMAN pumps. My only quibble is that the dress is too tight on the bust.

Demi Moore
wore head to toe SCHIAPARELLI FALL 2024 COUTURE and I think the fit of the dress looked great on her. However, I wish that she wore different shoes.

Michelle Yeoh
wore a BALENCIAGA FALL 2024 COUTURE strapless dress and it looks like bedsheets wrapped around her in a fancy way. It's not my favorite.

Kate Hudson made a rare appearance wearing head to toe THOM BROWNE with SABYASACHI jewelry. I still feel like she needed another jewelry piece to enhance her look, but she still looked great.

Marren Morris wore black and white strapless ankle length dress with a train in the back by MONIQUE LHUILLIER. I am usually not a fan of her looks, but this I like.

Dakota Fanning looked pretty wearing a DOLCE & GABBANA mini strapless, corset gown. However, I almost wish that it was in a different color.

Colin Ferrell also wore DOLCE & GABBANA and she chose a rich burgundy hue like Orlando Bloom did. This was a great color choice, but color aside, the pants needed to be hem and he needed a jewelry piece.

Camila Perez
chose a ALEXANDER MCQUEEN SPRING 2016 black & white cutout, ruffle lace dress from SHRIMPTON COUTURE, with black ankle length trousers. The top half is slightly different from the runway version, but either way, I can't say that I am liking this. It's not that she looks bad, it's the design.

Chris Perfetti looked great rocking a CONNOR MCKNIGHT white suit with black dress shoes.

Clarence Maclin struck a cool pose, wearing a chocolate brown suit by CANALI. I don't know what it is, but the men need to wear more jewelry. I feel like he needed something here to elevate his look.

Meredith Hagner
went the bridal route, wearing the SIMHKAI 'Lennox' white and silver embellished gown. This may have worked if the fit were better on the bust.

Bowen Yang went the retro route, wearing a VALENTINO RESORT 2025 logo suit. The print is a bit too much together. However, this really suits him which is why it works.
