2025 Fashion Trust U.S. Awards

On Tuesday( April 8th) the 2025 Fashion Trust U.S. Awards was held at The Lot at Formosa in West Hollywood, California with a lot of Hollywood's elite on hand. 

Colman Domingo rocked a custom MARNI SPRING 2025 mint floral beaded suit and he looked great in it. He for the most part, always delivers. 

Julia Fox also wore a look from the MARNI SPRING 2025 collection. She always does too much, but this is a fashion event where it was appropriate. I the dress and hat. 

Kehlani wore a GRACE LING SPRING 2025 two-piece ensemble and I thought she looked great. Her tattoos compliments it nicely. 

Julianne Hough wore a dress from the GRACE LING SPRING 2025 collection as well, which she accessorized with a TYLER ELLIS clutch. 

Tiffany Haddish showed a little leg in the dress that she wore from the GRACE LING SPRING 2025 collection. I just feel like with a simple, but sultry dress like this, she could have up'd the styling. I would add some jewelry and swap out the black pumps for ankle strap sandals. 

Taraji P. Henson wore a SIMKHAI FALL 2025 burgundy strapless leather dress. I love this new haircut that she has been rocking and I thought she looked great. However, the fit on the bust is off. 

Barbie Ferreira wore a SIMKHAI dress and surprisingly she pulled off this vibrant hue. The dress would have worked the straps are the problem. 

Lucy Hale wore a sparkling SIMKHAI strapless, column dress with a slit detail. I like the dress, but I'm not 100% sold on the color.  

Zooey Deschanel wore a burgundy ruffle tier lace gown which was also by SIMKHAI. An up-do and a open-toe heel with have complimented this gown. 

Gabrielle Union utilized the split on her CELIA KRITHARIOTI white beaded halter dress and she looked gorgeous.

Kate Hudson wore a HARBISON SPRING 2025 white gown with large bows on the shoulder and a short detail. I think this would have been better if the bows weren't so big and sat on top of the shoulder.

Ryan Destiny looked gorgeous in a SCHIAPARELLI white pleated shirtdress with gold buttons. Although, I feel like gold sandals would have been a better shoe choice, the gold pumps worked as well. 

Keke Palmer wore a vintage OSCAR DE LA RENTA champagne crystal and feather halter gown. I want to like this, but it's not working for me. Also, the choker was an unnecessary addition. 

Ruth Negga wore a look by LOEWE and I like the pieces but not together. 

Mandy Moore wore a sheer crystal embellished crop top with the matching pencil skirt by LAPOINTE. I just don't think she is edgy enough to pull this off. 

Kerry Washington came through sparkling in a BURBERRY SPRING 2025 gold embellished, peplum halter dress. I thought she looked great, but I would swap out the gold pumps for sandals.

Karreuche wore a KWAME ADUSEI red mock neck dress with a cutout detail. The design of the cutout detail doesn't work for me. I wish the fabric wasn't hanging out like that. 

Madeline Brewer wore a BALMAIN red sequin halter dress which was accessorized with DAVID WEBB jewelry and AQUAZZURA platform heels. I feel like the black platform and tights are too heavy here. A simple ankle strap sandal would have been better.

Sofia Boutella looked pretty in a red silk-chiffon, three-quarter sleeve gown by CAROLINA HERRERA. I just wish the silver clutch was on the smaller side. 

Annasophia Robb wore a VICTORIA BECKHAM SPRING 2025 asymmetrical dress. I feel like this would be better for someone on the taller side and the color is not working on her.

Ciara wore a DUNDAS RESORT 2024 black coat with a black see-through lace jumpsuit underneath. Although, I don't think that she looks bad, the jumpsuit feels a bit dated.

Aja Naomi King made a rare appearance wearing a MONSE FALL 2025 black one-shoulder dress and she looked pretty. 

Charlotte Lawrence wore a NINA RICCI FALL 2025 black jumpsuit with an exposed bra. I like that she took the fashion risk for the occasion, but I'm not loving this.

Becky G and Cara Delvingne both wore black dresses by CULT GAIA. Becky G opted for a sexy one-shoulder, cutout dress with a slit detail. Cara wore a black strapless, column lace dress which I wish was fully lined. 

Laura Harrier also made a rare appearance wearing a DIOTIMA FALL 2025 black draped, backless dress which was partially lined for coverage. This kinda looks like something for the beach. 

Hannah John-Kamen wore a GRETA CONTANTINE dress with DAVID YURMAN jewelry. She looked pretty but that white ruffle panel is not working for me. 

MJ Rodriguez wore a WILLY CHAVARRIA FALL 2025 suit and hat which I really liked, but the jacket is way too small on her. 

Normani went the vintage route, opting for a GEOFFREY BEENE two-tone, cutout dress. The heavy bracelets weren't needed, but the fit is great on her.

Kelly McCreary wore a SEBASTIAN GUNAWAN black and gold dress that gave me warrior vibes. An hairstyle pulled away from her face would have been ideal. However, I'm not loving this. 

Sara Sampaio wore head to toe ALEXANDRE VAUTHIER SPRING 2025 COUTURE and I really love this look. It feels too heavy for a spring look. It would be perfect in the fall.
