Mindy Kaling, Simone Biles and Andra McDonal wore custom HARBISON on Monday evening(May 5th) for the 2025 Met Gala Celebrating ''Superfine: Tailoring Black Style'' which was held at Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
Mindy Kaling was one of my favorites, but when it comes to her style, she rarely disappoints. She wore the 'Libra' custom tuxedo, shirt and cummerbund with a flowing train in the back. She looked elegantly beautiful in this masculine inspired tux. I like how the designer creatively took on the theme while incorporating his signature details.
Audra McDonald smiles beautifully in the 'Cirrus' gown with the designers 'Paix' opera cape-coat. The cape-coat was definitely an ode to the late legend Andre Leon Tally. I kinda wish she wore the hat from the sketch as well, but she still looked beautiful.
Simone Biles wore the custom 'Seraphim' dress with the 'Galaxy Cathedral' flowing bustle train. I love this color on her. I almost wish. the dress was slightly longer, but given her natural height, this length seemed better.
