79th Cannes Film Festival 'Bitter Christmas' Premiere

Following a Chopard gala, Ruth Negga, Olivia Palermo and more attended the ''Bitter Christmas'' screening during the 79th annual Cannes Film Festival at the Palais des Festivals on Tuesday(May 19th) in Cannes, France.

Ruth Negga and Chloe Zhao posed in different dresses by PRADA. Ruth's midnight navy, crinkle dress featured a bustle train in the back. Generally speaking, I like this but not the fabric. Chloe wore a black satin gown with a velvet neckline pockets. I dislike the velvet detail. This gown should have just been satin. 

Milena Smit posed in a dark but glam look which featured a TOM FORD FALL 2026 black belted, sequin dress with a scarf. A dark red pout added an edgy finish to her pretty look. 

Coco Rocha posed dramatically as always wearing a RAMI KADI chocolate brown strapless gown. This would have been so much better if she left the gloves out. 

Juliette Binoche wore a CELINE ensemble and I like this, but I wish that she didn't wear those platform shoes. 

Dita Von Teese looked gorgeous in a TAMARA RALPH SPRING 2026 COUTURE pink tule and black velvet gown with velvet opera gloves. I don't think that she needed the choker, but I would add a ring.

Helena Christensen wore a ROBERTO CAVALLI SPRING 2026 black velvet lace dress. This is not working for me and I kinda wish it were lined.

Olivia Palermo's ZUHAIR MURAD SPRING 2026 COUTURE gown had a bridal feel to it, but she looked gorgeous, and it worked for the occasion.
