Celebs in Thom Browne at the 2026 Met Gala Celebrating ‘Costume Art’

On Monday(May 4th) Olivia Wilde, Lindsey Vonn, Dwayne Johnson and Finn Wolfhard hit the carpet wearing THOM BROWNE at the 2026 Met Gala Celebrating ‘Costume Art’ which was held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.

Olivia Wilde's black duchess satin off-the-shoulder gown featured a structural cage bustle on the butt. The inspiration is a play on transformed silhouettes, but I think if it wasn't for the bustle, this would have been a total snooze. The limp hair and the basic look of the front is what lets down the clever detail of the back. 

Lindsey Vonn wore a trompe-l'œil, marble-inspired dress with over 500,000 glass cut and bugle beads. Her dress is inspired by the museum's marble statues from the past. The color is not my favorite, but I think the play on the theme is interesting. 

Dwayne Johnson wore a black tailcoat suit and his look is inspired by Thom's mortal and immortal duality of bodies past, present and future. However, I can't say that I am excited by this. 

Finn Wolfhard was also head to toe in a custom look by the designer. I don't know if it's the flashes from the camera, but the different shades of white is bugging me. It's not a totally bad look though, but I am not picking up on the theme.
