78th Creative Arts Emmy Awards

On Sunday(September 6th) in LA, some celebs hit the red carpet for the 78th Emmy Awards which was held at the Peacock Theater.

Charles Melton looked great wearing a classic black velvet LOUIS VUITTON tuxedo which was accessorized with CARTIER jewelry.

Colman Domingo wore a custom suit from the VALENTINO FALL 2026 collection. Colman is always my favorite on the carpet, but this time, I wasn't feeling his look. The band around the waist feels unnecessary and the fit of the pants is really off.

Kingston Rumi Southwick also wore VALENTINO FALL 2026 and his look was shown on the runway. His military inspired blazer also featured a band around the waist. I do like the color story, but I don't like the band on the waist on him either and the pants needed to be tailored better.

Lukita Maxwell wore VALENTINO FALL 2026 as well. This is not so bad, but I don't think the pink satin scarf was needed. Other than that, I like this.

Alison Brie wore the RACHEL GILBERT 'Oryx' column gown. The satin reflects in the light with every movement giving depth to the black hue, while the silver hand embellishments on the shoulder add a striking detail. I'm not 100% sold on the head styling, but she does look pretty.

Brittany Allen looked beautiful wearing a YARA SHOEMAKER SPRING 2026 COUTURE strapless silver embellished and black velvet gown which was accessorized with ZYDO jewelry. This gown brings together the balance of classic structure and modern sparkle.

Constance Zimmer posed in a black WOLFORD top and a AKRIS FALL 2026 black and gold embellished skirt. The skirt did the heavy lifting here while the top was clean, and basic which complimented it. Her outfit feels intentional rather than chaotic.

Emily Bader sparkled wearing a OSCAR DE LA RENTA PRE-FALL 2026 dress. The green sequins catches the light from every angle and the fringe hemline adds movement with every step.

Julia Stiles wore a BIBHU MOHAPATRA FALL 2025 berry silk-chiffon hand pleated crisscross halter gown. The rich texture of this gown creates a light, airy flow that's unforgettable. However, I wish that her hair was completely off-the-shoulders.

Shailene Woodley served up some legs wearing a BRANDON MAXWELL RESORT 2027 white mini dress accessorized with GIUSEPPE ZANOTTI sandals. She looked pretty, but I feel like this would have been better if it were an ankle length and the sandals gold instead of black. Also, I would have loved to see her wearing slightly heavier gold jewelry.

If the fit was right, Connor Storrie was have looked so sharp in this SAINT LAURENT SPRING 2027 suit. I get the baggy look is in which I like, but the jacket and the pants are poorly fitted on him.

Karolina Wydra wore a GAURAV GUPTA black strapless crepe gown with a pleated satin neckline. This is undeniably sophisticated, but she needed some jewelry that could have elevated it better.

Linda Cardellini could not be missed in this bold, sun-drenched hue courtesy of MONIQUE LHUILLIER Her SPRING 2026 marigold strapless faux wrap gown. I love the color, but I would have loved to see her with an off-the-shoulder hairstyle, with statement color stone earrings.

Mariska Hargitay was clearly happy about her well deserving wins as she should be. She wore a ELIE SAAB strapless silk dress. The rich crimson hue commands attention, while the unexpected gold hardware on the waist breaks up the monochromatic tone. I like this on her, but I wish that her hair was sleeker, and that she kept the matching scarf along with wearing gold hoops.

Noah Wyle posed with wife Sara Wyle who was wearing a GUSTAVO CADILE white strapless dress with a contrasting black satin bustle detail in the back. Noah wore a BRUNELLO CUCINELLI black double-breasted tuxedo. Generally speaking, I like this but I wish the fit were better.

Kaitlin Olson wore a ALBERTA FERRETTI white strapless dress. The dress in general is basic, but the textured fabric provides visual interest. However, better styling could have taken her look to the next level.

Taylor Dearden wore a TERESA HELBIG FALL 2026 strapless dress in an eye-catching silver hue and chevron pattern. I'm not that sold on it but that could be because of the lack of styling. I would have liked to see her wearing some statement earrings, with the dress belted at the waist.
