Following the photocall, Sofia Boutella and Dana Delany was joined by Geena Davis on the red carpet at 'The Basics of Philosophy' screening during the 83rd Venice International Film Festival at the Sala Grande in Venice, Italy on Friday(September 4th).
Sofia Boutella wore a white silk draped, cape sleeve dress with side pockets which she utilized. The draping across the neckline looks like something that you would see on your living room window and the dress needed to be steamed. This was a miss for me.
Geena Davis wore a ELIE SAAB black fitted dress that is classic with light catching sequins. The dress hugged her frame, and it featured a bold center-front split that adds just the right amount of drama and movement as you walk. She looked pretty and she served us with effortless, sophistication.
Dana Delany wore a SAINT LAURENT PRE-FALL 2026 burgundy and gold lace mini dress. If this looks familiar, that's because Virginie Efira wore a very similar version in May 2026. That clutch is to long for this mini dress and the ribbon on the cuffs seem so unnecessary.
