On Tuesday(November 3rd) Emma Roberts was spotted arriving for an appearance on Live With Kelly & Mark in New York to talk about the new season of 'American Horror Story.'
She arrived wearing the CHARLOTTE SIMONE 'Clover' chocolate brown coat and a MONSE SPRING 2027 floral dress which she layered for coverage. While both pieces are absolutely gorgeous on their own, pairing a breezy spring dress with outerwear that screams ''dead of winter'' is a bold risk. Throw in the trend of wearing the jacket halfway off the shoulders, and the proportions get pretty wild.
I do think the jacket is just too heavy for this dress and I feel like this dress would make more sense for a warmer day. Also, the pale yellow hue is not the best against her skin which is why the colored lip was added to her beauty look.
Overall, I like the idea of wearing a colored dress in the off-season because I do it myself, and pairing a winter coat with it. However, this coat and dress combo is not working for me. Do you think Emma pulled off this high-fashion seasonal mashup, or should she have saved the dress for warmer days?
