26th Screen Actors Guild Awards Wrap-up

Charlize Theron wore another custom GIVENCHY COUTURE look which shimmery silver crop top and a black center front split skirt which was belted at the waist. Charlize is beautiful but I am having a hard time getting onboard with most of her looks these days.

Reese Witherspoon worked the split on her custom CELINE sequin embellished one-shoulder dress which was accessorized with HARRY WINSTON jewelry. It's the same Reese Witherspoon look that we get all the time but she looks pretty and the fit is perfect.

Alexis Bledel in Delpozo at the 70th Primetime Emmy Awards

Making a rare appearance on the carpet, Alexis Bledel attended the 70th Primetime Emmy Awards this evening(September 17th) at the Microsoft Theater in LA.

She stepped out in playful, summery hues, courtesy of DELPOZO. Her RESORT 2019 strapless pink crepe & yellow tulle ankle length dress, was adorned with embellished brooches on the bodice. 

Alexis looks pretty but she doesn't give life to this vibrant color-block dress. Also the black clutch & black ALEXANDRE BIRMAN sandals wouldn't have been my choice of color accessories. What do you think of Alexis look?

Alexis Bledel in J. Mendel at the 29th GLAAD Media NY Awards

Yesterday evening(May 5th) Alexis Bledel was a presenter at the 29th Annual GLAAD Media Awards at The Hilton Midtown in New York City.

She turned to her go to designer brand, J. MENDEL wearing a SPRING 2018 sapphire flutter sleeve metallic velvet gown. Alexis had her dress shorten from the look book version and she also removed the the contrasting black belt. 

While the black belt works in the look book, I think on Alexis version, it works perfectly without it.  Loving the metallic & velvet combo and the dress was altered a little to suit her style. An EMM KUO clutch, NADINE AYSOY jewelry, NICHOLAS KIRKWOOD 'Zaha' sandals, a slick, side parted up-do and fuchsia lips finished up her look. Are you missing the black belt?

Alexis Bledel in J. Mendel at 'The Handmaid's Tale' Season 2 LA Premiere

Making one of her rare appearances, Alexis Bledel attended the season 2 premiere of 'The Handmaid's Tale' yesterday evening(April 19th) at the TCL Chinese Theatre in LA. 

She hit the black carpet in one of her go to designer brands, J. MENDEL. Her FALL 2018 long sleeve  midnight teal velvet & sheer panel mini dress featured a high neck and a tie detail in the back. 

If this looks familiar, that's because Jennifer Nettles wore the longer version in burgundy on Sunday. On the beauty end, she kept it simple with light make-up & side parted tresses which topped off her look along with a metallic clutch and the NICHOLAS KIRKWOOD 'Lola' pearl heel sandal.

23rd Critics' Choice Awards Wrap-up

Last night(January 11th) the 23rd Annual Critics' Choice Awards took place at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, CA. To see all of the celeb looks, click HERE and continue below for the wrap-up. 

Olivia Munn who hosted the show, wore a PRADA red halter, column dress with an embellished neckline. The detailed neckline is what keeps this dress somewhat interesting. NIWAKA jewelry, LOUBOUTIN heels and wavy tresses finished up her look.

Mary J. Blige who is celebrating her b-day, wore a custom VIVIENNE WESTWOOD iridescent strapless gown which featured the designer's signature bustier, draped bodice and train detail. I like the dress but not the fit of the bodice.

Gal Gadot also wore PRADA. Her silver metallic pleated halter dress featured a plunging neckline, a crisscross strap, cutout back and a black embellished waist. Straight off-the-shoulder tresses and a pink lip color finished up her look.

Alexis Bledel hit the red carpet this evening(January 7th) for the 75th Golden Globe Awards at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, CA.

For the occasion, she wore a OSCAR DE LA RENTA RESORT 2018 strapless jumpsuit which featured a white top, black ankle length trousers, a leaf embroidery across the bodice and a satin & beaded waist sash. 

Alexis jumpsuit is slightly different from the look book version but either way, she nailed this look. To ensure that nothing takes away from her look. she wore her straight & off-the-shoulder. A colored lip and a black clutch & pumps finished up her look.

2017 Creative Arts Emmy Awards - Day 2

Following the Day 1 ceremony, the 2017 Creative Arts Emmy Awards - Day 2 took place at the Microsoft Theater on Sunday(September 10th) in LA. 

Alexis Bledel wore a blush & cobalt J. MENDEL RESORT 2018 bishop sleeve floral embroidered gown with a jewel neckline and a pleated skirt. To avoid a washout, a rich pink lip shade was added to her beauty look. A HAYWARD HOUSE clutch, GIUSEPPE ZANOTTI sandals and a half-up half-down hairstyle. 

Laverne Cox served up major leg in a custom MIKAEL D PRE-FALL 2017 black long sleeve floor length dress with a contrasting gold sheer illusion & cut-out panel, a cut-out shoulder and thigh-high split. She vamped up her look with a dark red lip. An EDIE PARKER clutch, KENNETH COLE sandals and a ponytail with tendrils topped off her sultry look. 

Angela Bassett wore a vibrant red ROMONA KEVEZA SPRING 2017 one-shoulder gown with a cut-out bodice and a center front split. Love the gown & color but it is just too long on her. Also she should have gone with a strappy sandal over her CESARE PACIOTTI silver platform pumps which are not visible in this image.

Hulu Upfront Brunch Wrap-up

Along with Michelle Monaghan & Mindy Kaling, Alexis Bledel, Elisabeth Moss & Samira Wiley attended the Hulu Upfront brunch & presentation at the La Sirena Ristorante yesterday(May 3rd) in New York City.

Alexis Bledel wore the SALONI RESORT 2017 'Dana' polka dot & floral embroidered dress with a center front split detail and contrasting black straps. Alexis belted her dress and added a black blazer which gave it an sophisticated appeal. A HAYWARD raspberry velvet & gold clutch and a raspberry lip & sandals finished up her great look. 

Elisabeth Moss wore a three-quarter sleeve TED BAKER origami color-block knit dress with a shirt collar. Instead of wearing ankle strap sandals, Elisabeth opted for simple navy pumps. Side parted tresses and a bold colored lip finished up her look.

Samira Wiley wore a CARMEN MARC VALVO sleeveless navy & silver silk floral applique beaded dress with a full skirt. Instead of wearing silver sandals, Samira matched her dress with navy suede ankle strap pumps. Minimal make-up and a curly hairstyle finished up her look.

'The Handmaid's Tale' LA Premiere Wrap-up

Along with Madeline Brewer and Elisabeth Moss, the rest of the cast hit the windy black carpet for the premiere of Hulu's 'The Handmaid's Tale' TV series at the ArcLight Cinemas Cinerama Dome in  LA. 

Alexis Bledel worked a colorful black beaded CUSHNIE ET OCHS halter dress which she spiced up with some colored accessories which featured a turquoise clutch and yellow SCHUTZ sandals. Minimal make-up and straight tresses finished up her great look. 

Yvonne Strahovski wore a navy CAMILLA & MARC slip dress with a contrasting lace bodice overlay and spaghetti straps. I think I would have liked this more without the lace panel. Side swept tresses and STUART WEITZMAN sandals finished up her look.

Samira Wiley who recently tied the knot, looked great in a RUBIN SINGER green, black & white printed knee length dress with cap sleeves and a v-neckline. I am not to crazy about the black patent pumps but it doesn't hurt her look. Love the hair & make-up.

Along with Yvonne Strahovski, Alexis Bledel attended the premiere of 'The Handmaid's Tale' during the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival at the BMCC Tribeca PAC on Thursday(April 21st) in New York City.

She hit the red carpet in a J. MENDEL FALL 2017 long sleeve burgundy & maroon guipure lace embroidered layered mini dress with a open-back.  

This feminine lace mini dress looked great on Alexis and worked for the premiere. However a hairstyle similar to the model's or something off-the-shoulder would have enhanced her look. Burgundy suede pumps and a soft pink lip color finished up her look.
